Possibly Sun Titan? I know he has a higher mana cost but he can also get back any Exemplar's that you've lost and pump up your creatures. Plus most of the creatures you do have are at 3 or under cc.
To help add in an artifact maybe go with Veinfire Borderpost? It'd also help with bloodghast since you're bringing a land back to your hand.
