Agreed, and as much as I like High Priest of Penance, I don't know that it's the best card for this type of deck. A creature with undying or some sort of token producer or creature with a sacrifice mechanic might be more effective.
It's nice to destroy target non-land perm. I guess it could be side for now. I do like Geralf's Messenger ,because for three, you got some nice abilities. And its only three, everything else is two or one. I will see how it plays. I do like the two life lost, so, that does add up with undying and the other mechanics of the deck.
I just realized that this is almost standard beside's the dark rituals and the Soul's Attendant. Any ideas to replace them to make it standard?
Your average CMC is so low that I don't know that you need Dark Ritual anyway. You may want to include some card cycling - Sign in Blood comes to mind.
I agree, that is nice,but for the cycling ability as it stands is not in standard anymore I believe.

Haha. I understand. I added Sorin into the mix. Added two killing wave's, and I think it should play nice. Might be a bit to slow or two much, but I would love to see this out.
