I've always wanted to use Narset and I thought she'd work best in a deck full of burn.
Early game: control opponent with burn and board wipes to buy time to play narset. hold at bay will most likely give you another turn also.Mid-game: set-up with ascendency and try to draw into one or more creature. This is the transition from control to beatdown. So, it may be time to start burning your opponent. If they have cards in hand, though, I'd still play conservatively.Late-game: if you've made it this far, hopefully the board is clear or there are no blockers which threaten Narset. Swing with Narset and burn your opponent with anything she exiles. However, don't be to hasty with the instant spells. They can be cast until end of turn and if your opponent pulls some combat tricks and kill Narset, you wouldn't want to have cast the spell that could save her. Other than that, this is full beatdown mode.--Misc. Notes1. Narset can be "hasted" with generator servant. Just make sure it's time for the beatdown before running with that strategy. It's much easier to keep Narset alive when your opponent has an empty hand.2. Prognostic Sphinx is amazing paired with Narset. If one is in play, try to draw into the other.3. If Keranos is out, try to get more permanents out so he becomes a creature.4. Regardless of the other suggestions, try not to discard burn with ascendancy. Maybe if you are desperately digging for a board-wipe spell.
