Deck Description

I recently got back into magic and noticed little Koth here and decided to play with him a bit. Basically I tried to make a more control based red until I get Koth. the idea is I can proliferate Koth and the shrine and hit with either of them. I was going to add Valakuts and expedition map and thus transform it into a sort of hybrid valakut deck but figured Koth was better than Valakut.

Keeping in mind that I am going for a control Red any suggestions would be well appreciated.

Updated to no longer include: Kuldotha Rebirth and Mycosynth Wellspring (turns out its a bad card).
Added: Fetch lands and Goblin Guides for a creature presence on the battlefield. Also added a nifty little side board.

Thought about it but it would only slow down Koth and Valakut needs a moajority of the deck to be based around it. If I were to put in any non basic lands it would probably be fetch lands simply to thin the deck out a bit..

not bad i would deff add some fetch lands to thin it out a lil, i would also find a way to add some thopters to the deck or just take out rebirth. it can be a dead card if u draw it at the wrong time especialy sice u want to prolif. i would probably add more of tezz gambit too. other than that looks good.

Thank you. I was wondering wether or not to keep the rebirth as I really don't want to be sacraficing my artifacts. I think the only reason I put it in there in the first place was to have a few blockers but then again I have enough burn that I should be able to just run Goblin guides instead. All in all I think I shall add in some fetches.

not a prob man and its looking way beter. what if u take out a mox and added in a gambit since mox is legendary 4 may not be a good idea.

I actually hadn't thought of that. the Opal is nice but late game it's not as useful except to cast the gambit without the life, which I can't do if I don't have enough Gambits. Once again, Sir, thank you.
