15 Decks, 6 Comments, 1 Reputation

Back and better thasn ever. I went to the comic book shop and spent $40 on cards to turn that weak curse deck I had before into this. Much more effective.

Comments appreciated.

I am trying to keep the 5 decks at comparable power level (the intent is that they will be played against each other); as it is blue and white have enough flying to give the opposition a really hard time (especially the green deck). Looter I find is handy to make sure you always have the right control spell on you when you need it.

In the first couple of playtests, blue has outperformed all the other colours so far.

I like the idea of maybe adding one rare to each deck. If I do, Garruk's Horde will deffinitely be chosen as the rare for this one.

But then it wouldn't be standard legal. :P

Other cards I may swap in include:
-Diabolic Tutor
-Doom Blade
-Belltower Sphinx
-Chill of Foreboding
-Deranged Assistant
-Geralf's Mindcrusher
-Ghoulcaller's Bell
-Thought Scour

Etc...

There's tons of options.

Believe me, Curse of Death's Hold and Curse of Bloodletting are high on my want list, but this happens to be a deck built from cards that are physically available to me as opposed to just something theorized using all that is available on the website.

In other words: I don't own the cards, ergo it's not in the deck. Would love to include them though.
