Deck Description

This is version 2.1 of my attempt at singleton modern BUG control. Any suggestions are very welcome, but remember that I have budget restraints. So if you suggest a card over $20, I have probably already considered it, but it was too expensive. This deck smashes creatures and affinity. Burn is an alright match up as well, depending on your draw. In fact, a lot of matches depend on your draw, its a singleton deck xD. I do not have enough testing to give accurate play descriptions, but I'm 6-2 (money'd twice!) at my store. Affinity 3-0, Burn 1-0, Infect 0-1, Tron 0-1, Sultai Delver 1-0, G/W Hatebears 1-0.

How to Play

Understanding this deck, how it works, and what it can do is very important. I don't want to say snapcaster is the best card, but it lets you reuse spells in an all singleton deck... There is however, a lot of redundancies in the deck. One of the best cards for me has been the maindecked flaying tendrils. Just...you can ruin people, i mean RUIN people. I mulled to 5 against an affinity player. My 5 was land, land, BOP flaying, pithing needle. His T1 was 2 memnite, ornithopter, glimmervoid vaultskirge. t2 he played inkmoth nexus and added a steel overseer. He was not happy about my next turn.
