Deck discussion for Lim-Dul Necro Zombies

Grixis Grimblade + Vedalken Ghoul = Great Control Early in the Game.
Thraximundar + Deathbringer Thoctar = One Hell of a Team...if you can get them out.
Why all Alara Reborn? I think some cards like Crumbling Necropolis (Shards of Alara), Dragonskull Summit (M10), Drowned Catacomb (M10), or Rupture Spire (Conflux) would really help the mana in this deck, and still be completely legal in standard! At least even it out with a Veinfire Borderpost!

it looks solid except for a few things. Get another deathbringer, maybe another thrax, take out the jhessian's their awful lol and i'd say even the sojourners. Then max out those oddities: 2 lightning reavers, 4 ghouls, 4 terminates, make it 2 breaths of malfegor if any.... and try to throw in some creatures that sacrifice as an ability. Look at Illusory Demon (1BU 4/3 whenever you play a spell sacrifice Illusory Demon) ; Brackwater Elemental (1UU 4/4 whenever you attack or block with it, sacrifice it at the next end step) ; AND Illusionary Servant (1UU 3/4 flying it becomes the target of a spell or ability, sacrifice it)

All of those creatures are cheap chumps that buff up your Deathbringers, and your Thraximundar :) Also Shambling remains would be a very nice addition :) cheap 4/3 with an even cheaper unearth

***** If you want your deck to be on the 'Most Rated Decks' list, build a good deck and people will vote for you... don't just vote people down to get your deck on the list!! You obviously don't have the mental capacity to build a good deck... you idiots!! *****

If you think my deck is just rubbish, then let me know (comment), then give me the 'thumbs down'.

Looks awesome. I'm a fan of Lim-Dul, but have so far been unable to find him at any of my local card shops. Is he worth buying online? There's been quite a few cards I've bought because they look interesting, but have summarily taken out of my deck because they're just not worth the spot.

Lim-Dul is high mana, but I like him... He is designed for a Zombie deck (i think), but is hard to fit in!! Took me ages to find a deck he works well in... He seems at home in this deck. The trick to play him from the grave with something like 'Rise from the Grave' so he is also a Zombie - then u don't lose him when using 'Call to the grave' and he benefit from cards like 'Lord of the Undead', 'Cemetery Reaper', 'Zombie Master' etc etc

I get my cards online, local stores seem to have only limited stock! I don't oftem buy packs, as I only normally get a card or two I like and the rest are left unused!! I tend to but singles... but it does ensure I get the cards I want :) www.magicmadhouse.co.uk is where I buy most of my cards.

Playing Lim-Dul from the graveyard is a great idea, you could think about tossing in a couple Hidden Horror, three mana or a Dark Ritual for a 4/4 creature which cost you to discarding a creature to your graveyard being, Lim-Dul the Necromancer then bring him back with Rise from the Grave the next turn. (I was always an Animated Dead guy for two mana instead of four but, it wouldn't be considered a Zombie then though)
