Deck Description

This deck is a clone of Warrior Elves 2020 by zoson.

My Golgari brew of the warriors deck.
Keep Shaman of the Pack.
Add a couple Metallic Mimic to try and duplicate Bramblewood Paragon to 6 total.

Cut Craterhoof Behemoth and Turntimber Symbiosis to support less plentiful mana availability and Golgari mana base.

How to Play

This deck revolves around Bramblewood Paragon.

Bramblewood Paragon key interactions:
- 23 of the 36 creatures in the deck are warriors. 27 if you count the tokens from Dwynen's Elite. This allows a significant number of creatures to enter with +1/+1 Counters and Trample, reducing the need for Ezuri.
- 18 of the warriors are 2/2's already, including Bramblewood Paragon, allowing this strategy to be significantly more resilient against 1 damage removal.
- Bramblewood Paragon in play saves all the 1/1 warriors from Plague Engineer.
- Growth-Chamber Guardian - you can very quickly get all of them on the board.
- Joraga Warcaller - gets a free counter without needing to be kicked, turning him into a lord for cmc1. Joraga Warcaller also benefits from Turntimber Symbiosis significantly.

The primary strategy of the deck is to get a Bramblewood Paragon into play, and follow that up with either Joraga Warcaller, Ezuri, or a Shaman.

Deck discussion for Warrior Elves 2020 v2

I would rather use Elvish Archdruid instead of Elvish Mystic and Llanowar Elves, as he is also a lord and gives all your elves +1/+1.
Wren's Run Vanquisher and Talara's Battalion could be interesting additions while Imperious Perfect serves as another lord that also can produce warrior tokens.
Another way to approach this would be Hardened Scales which doubles the effect of Bramblewood Paragon, or Doubling Season/ Primal Vigor, which are more expensive to play but also affect your token-producing effects.
Last you could add Harmonize to get some carddraw, so that you don't run out of things to throw at your opponent.

The point here is a much lower mana curve in general than the standard warriors build, so Archdruid becomes unnecessary. As modern has gotten faster, and removal more plentiful, Archdruid is no longer very effective at CMC3.
Doubling Season and Primval Vigor are FAR too slow without Archdruid, and Hardened scales isn't an elf.

Went 3-0 yesterday with the deck as it is shown here. Beat 4c Omanth Uro Pile 2-0, Jund 2-1, and Humans 2-0.
