Ajani is no good for life gain decks. Try Elspeth Tirel if you really want a walker.

fixed, although Ajani did seem to fit more, IMO.

Well imagine having just one Soul Warden out and a Pridemate, then you drop Elspeth and -2 to gain three life and pump the Pridemate 3 times (because the Warden gets three triggers, and you gain one life 3 times).

Now imagine having 3 Warden's out...

Seriously, Wardens are better than Suture. You want to gain life and pump the Pridemate as much as possible.

You need creature control so they don't deal more damage then you heal I recommend oblivion ring or journey to no where

He's only playing cards he has. And that's the way it should be. I have a life gain deck too, (standard) and so I know what cards are good and what cards are not. He's has good cards in there but needs to knock out others. Think about putting in Suture Priest. For life gain you need more things that are going to keep the opponent from hitting you. When I go to a random place to place I'm always playing standard just so it's fair. You can make a standard life gain deck but it will cost you bucks that's the only draw back. And Ruin Ghost is deadly combo with those lands that gain you live and with that Sunspring Expedition. These are just a few tips that will make your life gain that much more bad ass. Good work keep it up.

theres only one thing wrong with your comment: the first sentence. i own almost NONE of these cards(infact, the only cards i own in this deck are about 6-7 plains), i'm just trying to see how good of a lifegain deck i can make. due to all the comments i got on this deck, i can say that this deck might actually become a physical deck, depending on how much all of these cards cost.

run glitterpost over refuge. it comes in untapped and you probably won't care about missing one white mana.

I'm a little confused on your choice of Sunpetal Grove, there's no green in this deck. The Graypelt Refuge I can understand because of the life gain, but it and Kabira Crossroads ability "enters the battlefield tapped" will slow you down and be more hurtful to you than the lifegain is worth.

Also Test of Endurance mite be more useful than Felidar Sovereign as a win condition as it costs less mana and people are less prepared to deal with enchantments than they are for creatures, though you'd need 50+ life to win instead of 40+.

well... this post is new. Test of Endurance seems a bit better, i guess i could use it instead of Felidar Sovereign
