Deck discussion for Unavoidable Void

There is a blue card (i can't remember the name of it) that costs 4UU for a 5/5 with soulbond. When you soulbond it with a creature, both have 1U and you flicker it (it's a great combo for any card that has an ability for when it leaves play and/or enters the battlefield).

Ah. Deadeye Navigator. I had considered it, but don't like the CMC.

Interesting deck...
How does it win?

Combat damage. The idea is to keep your opponent from playing creatures or things that kill yours so you can keep attacking.

Okay. You maybe should add something like Phantom Warrior or Azorius Herald to win quicklier.

Adding cards to attack with would take away from the combos that make this deck function.

Restoration angel and cloudshift.

I'd like to add Restoration Angel, but she is just so expensive. Cloudshift is good, but I think Momentary Blink is better because flashback.

Fair enough.

I replaced Eiganjo Free-Riders with Dust Elemental, but I'm not sure that was a good idea. What do you think?

I'd stick with dust elemental.

Or, as suggested before, just swap in resto angel. Same cmc, but she blinks a single creature instead of having to return 3 to your hand. She's only $6 right now on starcity. Though if dust elemental can target itself then that's not awful for $5 less.

Returning three creatures can be good if I have a couple Meddling Mages and Augury Owls. Casting them again is worth their abilities. The only thing I dislike about Dust Elemental is the 2 white in casting cost.

"Once Meddling Mage leaves the battlefield, the named card can be cast again". Well, I'm glad I never bought the cards.
