Deck Description

Funny infinite damage combo between Juniper Order Ranger and his secret little friend named Murderous Redcap
Rule 420.5 n states, that if a creature has both a +1/+1 and a -1/ -1 counter on it both counters are removed.

How it works:

1.Get something to sacrifice the Redcap into play (Rusalky or Spawning Pit)

2.Get Juniper Order Ranger on the Battlefield

3.Get Murderous Redcap on the Battlefield, sacrifice it to Rusalka or spawning Pit
= the persist ability returns it from the graveyard to play
counters are removed by the Ranger so you can shoot infinite damage

also you can gain infinite life with kitchen finks

Fauna Shaman to get redcap or the finks
Swiftfoot boots to protect Juniper Order Ranger

Ways to improve and any comments welcome

Deck discussion for 420.5 n

Hi there! I actually have a lot of experience building around rule 420.5 n and breaking persist. Most people wouldn't recognize what this deck was by that name.

I like this build and a few of your choices but I think you could tweak it to be better.

My deck started looking similar to this several years ago but then Melira, Sylvok Outcast came out and was much better than Juniper Order Ranger. Loosing Juniper also allows you to drop the white splash and focus more. I would still sideboard Juniper for a rainy day and there is always birds, Fauna Shaman, or green sun zenith if you need to sneak him out.

My version can be very quick and has won on turn 4 on many occasions and turn 3 on some. Ex. Turn 1 land and bird Turn 2 land and blasting station Turn 3 land and Melira and Safehold Elite. Sac Safehold 20 times to Blasting station and win.

Take a look at my deck and let me know what you think. Probably some cards in there you hadn't considered before.
