Happy New Year everybody! This is not really a Deck at all, it is bassically me celebrating a big number Decks I have made and to acknowledge all of the people that have been with me all this time. First off, from now on, I will be making my own original Rogue Decks. Why? Well, because every single one of my Decks so far have been my versions of other Decks. Hell, some of them are direct copies! They are truly good Decks, but I think it's time to stop and create my own Decks, because now, I feel more like a Net-Decker than a Deck-Builder. Also, to make this Deck a little more interesting, when you leave a Comment, ask me a question. It can be about anything, and I think it would be cool if people knew more about me. Also, leave your favorite Magic Card in your comment as well, and I will add it to the Deck. Now, about new partners. *laughs* Well put, sir, well put. To say the least, it has always been interesting to look at your various deck ideas, as well as to comment on them. Deciding to make each deck unique is a great idea, though sometimes the great Deck-Building Muse has a tendency to up and run on you (spent 2 years in a span without making a new deck). This is one of the reasons why I enjoy forums like these, rather than put them down: inspiration comes in many different forms here, even if there are net-deckers. And you are hardly one of those. You ask us to leave a question with our comments, so: "Out of the colors utilized in the game, which one do you believe suits your personality and your playing ability the best?" As to favorite cards... Damn, you ask a tough one. Haha~, thanks Azrael! And yeah, I will be making my own Rogue Decks, and even if I might not have many ideas ATM, I'll probably develop over time. The Color that I think suits my personality the best is Green. Why? Because I'm a devoloping person, I learn quickly, and I'll probably end up really good if I focus on something. HOW ABOUT A FLY BY WINGMAN !, i'm glad your building your own decks you clearly have the knowhow from the advise given to me in the past and you have good card knowlage too, rouges seem a fast and furious way of starting ! bring on the constructer ! woo, after youve done the creature types focus on develpoing a deck round a certain ability or concept thats were the fun is for me, rather than putting the best options of a creature type together, howver im sure the choices you make will be well considered and make for top decks, and its th esplash of key supporting spells that make the difference, but always try new things and develop, i stopped playing magic for some years and porned all my stuff when i was a poor student (regreted that by the way) but this time round in general ive tried to build decks round the new abilitys that have come out and new power cards that i never saw such things as before its been a lot of fun, anyway iceman, whatever we all do as deck builders in 2011 and beyond i'm sure were right there with each other , thanks for teh shout out it means a lot from such a big influence on here, a shout back to yourself and the other greats who have been named. ok cards im mainly a big in your face quake and quiver at the creature i'm about to drop so i guess they'll mainly be creatures but here we go !, i bet you could name em for me as there in all my decks lol ; abyssal persecutor ! grave titan wurmcoil engine kilnfiend contagion clasp/engine (sneakily thats 2 but ....) leatherback baloth and i am partial to the hard to spell blight dragon !. if you could ban a card or better still an effect or ability what would it be examples i have a pal would remove counterspells from the game, personally i think this is to big a part of magic and it would loose something, he also is not keen on fireball as he see's it as uncreative, yes he is a bit of a moaning git lol (actually a lovley guy and a clever player) just likes to pick and moan ha ha, so what would you loose and why ? personaly i would remove anything that involves the toss of a coin cause its just gay !, and also i hate that i spend so much time aggonising over deck construction and somebody can throw in a coin toss and the game hinges on random chaos !, thats me pal and there your question ??? :_)
If I could ban any Card, I would ban Jace, the Mind Sculptor because he's in too many Decks and costs too damn much. As for Card-Type, I would ban anything that says Dredge on it. I remember when I first started playing, the more "proffesional" Player in our group always played it and kicked our asses with it. Well, at least before I figured out about Haunting Echoes, that is.
Ravenous Trap. Just wait for him to dump a whole bunch of stuff into his graveyard, and BAM! take a crap on his deck with a 0 cost instant trap! =] That's how I got my buddy to quit using his [god damn] dredge deck. =P
Ravenous Trap was the first Card I ever used to keep him from kicking my ass, but then I moved on to Haunting Echoes to get rid of those god damn Golgari Grave-Trolls. Bastards.

I am indeed a fan =] Happy New Year to you too man! =] Alright, I have a few questions for ya. 1) A while back one of my buddies argued that Timbermaw Larva is not a Stompy card because he is initially a 2/2 for 4 mana, and he does make a decent point. I said it was, because in a Stompy deck, the first turn it can attack it will be boosted up to a 6/6 to a 9/9! And it can only get stronger from there! So my first question to you is...what do you honestly think? 2) In MTG, metaphorically we are all Planeswalkers. So, my second question is...what type of mage would you consider yourself, and from what plane would you consider you call home/most often visit? 3) What do you think is your...best/favorite deck? 4) Mind checking out my latest deck? (shameless advertising I know...) Oh, and my favorite card, bar none, is Bloodghast. God damn is that card great. =] Congratz on 40! =}

It's a big guy, but you have to work towards him, however I do see Llanowar Elves in quite a lot of Stompy Decks so I would say yes, but that's just me. 2) I'd be a king in the Ravnica Boros Guild. 1. My favorite Deck Type has got to be Aggro. Say you're facing against a Combo Deck, like Scapeshift for example, you have like 6-Turns to kill them. What's the best way to do it? Aggro. Such a fun Deck too. 2. I'm a big fan of the Grixis Colors. Hell, the first Deck I ever went to an FNM with was a Cruel Control Deck, which I won! Thanks for the comment! :D

Thanks for the support and I checked out your Artifact Deck it is BEAST! :D I'm actually not doing too great right now. Ever since the 30th of December I got food poisoning and some virus so now I'm spending all my holiday time in bed and I feel really really sick. I did get a new laptop though, that was pretty cool.
yeah i needed to make an extended deck for a tournament in february the prize for the tournament is probably a beta time walk or a mox emerald >> so i gotta bring the hurt i still need a couple cards for it to be complete though mostly lands
If your Mana-Base costs too mcuh check out my Deck "New Affinity" and you'll probably have cheaper options.
well xD i commented on your artifact deck and i dont really wanna repeat myself so if you could go check it out there that would be cool i need a little help fine tuning that deck for february and pretty much the local tournaments we have

Great Idea to make this for your 40th deck celebration. Congratulations on making so many! I'll check em out later, since I don't have the time right now. I've got one question for you: What was your first ever magic experience? (so how did you get to know this game and want to try it out?) As for my favorite card.... I'm not really sure. I'm gonna go with Sun Droplet (an uncommon artifact from Mirrodin) That one's great if you play lifegain and have a pridemate on the field xD.
Thanks for the comment and support! :D My first Magic experience was the PC Game I got off of Steam called Magic: the Gathering Duels of the Planeswalkers which my older brother got me into because his best friend used to play Magic and so did he (his best friend used to play around the Ravnica Block and my brother used to play around the Kamigawa Block). They both actually quit after like one month, but before they quit I found this website and started making Decks and through this website I have actually stayed with Magic and probably wont be quitting any time soon. I don't play very often at all though. Nice pick!
So...May I ask, why Rogues? Don't get me wrong, they're great and versatile, but I'm just curious why that was what you chose. Also, I'm glad you're going forward with making your own unique decks. I think you have the skill and know-how to do it, so I'm looking forward to seeing them. =]

I'm an "old school" player and i gotta say I'm still a big fan of Shivan Dragon. She'll always be my favorite since I pulled her outta my first pack I ever bought when i was 14.

My personal favorite cards are a tie between Iona, Light of Emeria versus any of my friends mono decks, or Immaculate Magistrate for the simple fact that it can ruin anyone's day with enough elves out. Or on the part of randomness, the B.F.M. monster cards are the funniest things I've ever seen, since the sheer amount of mana required to play them together to not have them sacrificed. haha

Question for you: Do you keep your MTG obsession hidden from those close to you, or are you openly dorky about MTG? :) I'm openly dorky, but only because I am married and old enough to not be shy about such things and not care what people think about me anymore.

My family and a couple of my older friends and this website are the only people that really now I play Magic, because people at my school are, well, DOUCHEBAGS. So I mostly hang out with women, and they probably won't have much interest in Magic. But then again, I'm okay with it 'cause this website is the only thing keeping MTG alive for me, seeing as how I can't buy Singles which really ruins the game for me a lot.

Alright, alright I haven't Commented on anything for a while so I'll check out the Decks you mentioned ASAP. If the Card doesn't have to be a Creature then I'd have to say Bone Splinters/Kraken's Eye/Ad Naseum. I cringe every time I look at those Cards. But you asked for a character so I'm going to go with Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre because god knows I would hate to be choked between those tentacles. Also Giant Spider because I have Arachaphobia.
