Woof. This seems like it'd put a hefty cost on your opponent. How does it play in actual play?

Oh it is alright! Well I have play tested it a couple time and it curves out pretty well mana wise. The control cards once they are out are really hard on your opponent and the counterspells really do a number on whatever high ticket item they are wanting to lay down.
