Deck Description

My take, though its probably wholly unoriginal, on tribal human.

Thanks to any and all that can help me out; I really appreciate it. I welcome any and all advice; format is standard.
Added in the Loyal Cathar and Thalia because she's beast

Deck discussion for Over generic Humans ftw? [Help Needed!]

Looks very nice, I think i'd switch the Hamlet captains to Pilgrims instead and maybe drop the 3 honor for the pure and add 2 overrun and one more Pilgimr.. so all in all:

-2 Hamlet captain
-3 Honor of the pure
+3 Avacyns Pilgrim
+2 Overrun.

Overrun is one of my favorite cards for creature decks, and it's really just my flavor so I deffo understand if it's not to your liking :)

I had the Pilgrim's in there but with how shallow the mana curve is I felt I could replace them with the Hamlet Captain. Mana Acceleration is always a good thing though

Ok, you asked for my advice, so let’s give you my input! :*) So what I’ve seen about Green/White humans is that you don’t need all that many high curved cmc’s. So, this is what I think you should do. I’m going to break down your deck one card at a time since that has worked best with people.

Batterskull: This is a great addition and a better alternative to the mythic swords. I would add 2 or 3 of this card because you can use it and kill ass. Like I said on my human’s deck, I even had adaptive automan wreck day with, 64+ damage.
Silver-Inlaid Dagger: this card is awesome card to add to any human! In a sense, its super battle cries. Keep that 3 of’s.
Hero of Blade hold: Yes, this card is jank, but to be honest she may not be the best card anymore for humans. Let people who play at World’s have their Blade holds. Its 4cmc. You should keep your deck at a minimum 3 cmc for your creatures. It helps greatly when you want to show off a real tribals.
Sun Titians: I agree that this is a jank card also, but same as hero, it’s too high cmc just to get an effect out. I would scrap him altogether. You want a turn 4 or possibly turn 3 win *which you can obtain*
Champion of the Parish: this card is an excellent psych out card. I would recommend maybe having it as a 2 of. One reason is because your opponent will learn to creature hate or O-ring him later. I’ll give you a scenario from last night. Guy was playing tribal vampires vs. my humans. Both were standard. T1: Razorverge thicket, champion of parish. T2: razorverge Thicket and Elite Inquisitor. His turn for t2, he decided to doom blade…the inquisitor. 2 turns after, my Parish was swinging in for 40+ damage.
Mirran Crusader: keep 4 of.
Doomed traveler: good card, 2 in one creature? Yes.
Fiend hunter: creature based O-ring? Yes I would have 4 of
Hamlet captain: I like only have 2 of
Mayor: you should have 4 of.
Enchantments:
Asceticism: no, you’re going for a turn 4 kill. Not a turn 20 kill. Too high for something that doesn’t always work? Day of Judgment your turn.
Honor of the pure: I would have only 2 of that card, because you have green creatures too. Or you can just ditch honor because of mayor and another card you can have, adaptive automan. He helps a shit load.
O-ring: keep 4 of.
Lands are fine.
Now, for things I would add:
Adaptive automan
Spare from evil
Swift foot boots
The pilgrim for manna excel. Trust me you want.
Creature AND permanent hate like beast within and the white cards. They do help

Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps.

So throw in some Journey to no where for white creature hate? I have a buddy who has a tribal vampire deck I fight all the time and basically his deck is annoying for the simple reason that it is chalked full of creature removal: Quag Sickness, Grasp of Darkness, Feast of Blood, Corrupt, Urge to Feed blah blah. I figured the Sun Titan and Asceticism would be a hard counter if those spells allow him to drag the game on beyond the early game phase. I agree though, against any other deck I'd throw out the Sun Titans and Asceticism as they are late geared while this deck accels at early.

I haven't played humans, but this looks good. I'm more of a control player, but...
As a control player, I would want to kill this deck with lots of removal. You might want hexproof, shroud, or indestructible. Angelic overseer can survive removal and most board wipe, so you'll want her x2.
Good luck.

Hmm.....I'll play test the angel. Seems a little out of place in the human deck, but I suppose if I have the mana a hexproof indestructible is nigh unkillable
