No, you're correct. It's a big cheese strategy that relies entirely on Platinum Angel to avoid losing the game.

Not very practical, I know. But it's still hilarious to pull out on someone.

I'm really glad you like it!

Eventually I'm going to reorganize all the combos by component rather than function, so it's easier to remember which parts work well together.

Metalworker is no longer banned, but Tinker still is; fyi.

Also, I just finished building an artifact deck of my own (sans the two cards the shop forgot to pull). Have a look:

Muito obrigado! Eu não falo Português, por isso espero que esta tradução está correta.

Eu amo combos sacrifício simbólicos, e é sempre mais divertido para ter o maior total de vida.

Thanks for the suggestions. The cards I've listed are ones I actually own at the moment, but I'll definitely keep an eye out for the ones you mentioned.

I like what you've got going here. There are quite a few improvements you could make in the way of mana ramp, given many of the cards released in the Theros block. If you care to have a look, you might draw some inspiration from my own rendition of the Naya commander deck:

http://www.mtgvault.com/acardinalsin/decks/nature/

Some major suggestions I would make are as follows, to help speed up the deck with free creatures, land grab, and mana ramp:

Elvish Piper
Gyre Sage
Karametra's Acolyte
Keeper of Progenitus
Knotvine Mystic
Zhur-Taa Ancient
Karametra, God of Harvests
Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx
Into the Wilds
Lurking Predators
Primeval Bounty
Rites of Flourishing
Wild Evocation
Primal Surge
Collective Voyage
Boundless Realms
Green Sun's Zenith
Tooth and Nail
Garruk Wildspeaker

Definitely looks a lot better. Lots of damage and removal, and great synergy with your counters. If you can afford it, Doubling Season would be a great card for you as well; it doubles any tokens OR counters on your side of the field, including loyalty counters on planeswalkers when you initially bring them out.

It's no prob. That's how most of my decks used to come into existence. Then I bought cards to tweak here and there until I was happy. :P

I dig it. Though if I had to make a suggestion, it would be to add a Spidersilk Armor. It gives all your creatures +0/+1 and reach. It's a main staple in all of my green decks. Here are a few other things you might like:

Garruk Wildspeaker
Boundless Realms
Collective Voyage
Green Sun's Zenith
Primal Surge
Tooth and Nail
Druidic Satchel
Citanul Flute
Nylea, God of the Hunt

I've got a big stompy Naya EDH deck you can look at for inspiration if you want. Monocolor commander can be tricky, but damn fun if you pull it off. ^^

I dislike the Cerberus altogether. When I was playing against him at the draft tournament, it kept backfiring on him and brought back MY creatures, which he'd spent so much effort trying to kill. It's not worth it if you're helping your opponent.

Take out the cerberus in place of another Master of Cruelties. Take out the Cinder Elementals completely in favor of something better. I would also add 2 Whips of Erebos, because lifelink isn't just for combat damage. Try to drop down the number of cards some if you can, and make this fairly creature-centric. Also, you'll want to bump up your land count some.

If you wanted to keep the amount of mana ramp in there, I would suggest adding some artifacts or enchantments that let you draw additional cards. This way you can put all that mana to good use. Rites of Flourishing, Howling Mine, and Font of Mythos would all help a lot, thought the last two are fairly expensive. If you wanted to incorporate black more, you could use Harvester of Souls in conjunction with a couple sac engines. That would also make fair use of the tokens you'll be creating.

So you've got ridiculous amounts of mana ramp. But what for? You don't have enough high mana cost cards to warrent THAT much ramp. Also, as many counters as you'll be dealing with, I would throw in a Corpsejack Menace, Doubling Season, or Primal Vigor. If anything, put in all three for a little redundancy.

I would recommend adding Pharika's Mender, Treasured Find, and Eternal Witness, among other things. This will help you be more selective about what you can bring back from your graveyard. If done properly, you can chain enter the battlefield effects for some crazy shenanigans.

Admittedly, I play Golgari differently than most; and I know it's common on here for people to shove deck links down each others' throat, but if you're looking for inspiration, here's the deck I currently run:

I'm definitely putting in Devil's Play. I considered Vorinclex as well, but I'm still trying to stick with a beast theme. Plus our table is pretty big, so it helps to be political so you don't get focused down early.

Also, Defense of the Heart is nifty. If I didn't have an OCD that disallowed me from playing older cards like that, I'd most definitely run it. Hopefully they'll reprint it at some point.

Thanks for the suggestions though :]

This looks very straightforward and effective. Though, I question the Accorder's Shield and Trading Post. They don't exactly synergize well with the mechanics you've got going on here. I would consider maybe a Ring of Kalonia, to give your big green stompies trample, and keep pumping them up. Death's Presence and Asceticism would be good additions too.

Gotcha. I'd posted this before I finished looking through the deck. As soon as I see Admonition Angel, I think of my favorite little ghostie. lol

If you're ever looking for inspiration for this deck, you might take a look at the one I built just recently. The last time I played it, I won the game with 552 life, and I was swinging for an average of 140 damage per turn.

I disagree with Epsilon on this point. Those "mana intensive" abilities only cost a single mana, and give great benefits to your many, MANY large creatures. With the amount of mana ramp in here, I doubt you'd have a problem keeping a land open for use with these.
