Deck Description

never heard of a perfect deck but please help me get this 1 close
main idea of the deck is to burn my opponet as fast as possible (without atks the main deckis at an average of 8 turns) if im having trouble and i will have to go a longer match with an opponet then i want to side in control and take over the game..
this is about the 5th complete redoof the deck i started scattered then went burn but it wasnt working then made it delver where i finally figured out how to make ther burn work and also learned i dislike playing with delver re did the burn then took 2 other izzet decks i saw and molded it to this as you can tell im open tonew ideas so please give them also i need to drop 3 cards from my side deck so help there to please

Deck discussion for izzet burn/control after side

Izzet needs 4 Snapcaster Mages. (Nivix Guildmage's are terrible)

Arcane Melee is not the best spell for this deck because
1. It's a dead card until turn 5 if you draw it and
2. Even if you cast it on turn 5 you probably can't use it until turn 6 and
3. It helps your opponent set up turn 6 because his/her spells cost 2 less also.
4. You already have Electromancers why do you need Arcane Melee?

Also, if you wait until turns 7-8 to cast it (which seems more efficient because it leaves you open for mana to cast other spells on the same turn) you'd most likely be in such a critical situation that you would frantically want to cast something more worthy of your mana to save yourself.

Arcane Melee is a fun card or overkill card at best. Not a card to rely on.

This deck is meant to win fast or control and win a few turns later than expected.

Bonfire of the Damned are rigged and they beat Devil's Play anyday.
Also, Epic Experiment hitting Bonfire of the Damned or Devil's Play is just sad. You lose 2-3 cards for so much mana.

+1 Bonfire of the Damned or +2 if you want.
-4 Devil's Play

Izzet Charm's gives you more options than Desperate Ravings so
-2 Desperate Ravings
+3 Izzet Charm (mainboard)

Obviously need Sulfur Falls and Steam Vents for consistency

Did U know, that U can't reduce the "X" in mana costs?..

I'd give suggestions, but this deck has to be completely reconstructed, 'cuz it was built on a missunderstanding... ...sorry 4 sayin'!..

Also... U play quite some sh.t cards, like Ravings c Devil's Play...

Brimstone Volley won't get it's morbid activated often, expecially, if U play Pillar of Flame...

The mana base has to be adjusted, 'cuz the Guildgate is a sh.t card as well... Get some Steam Vent!.. I'd add a few Evolving Wilds as well (1-2)...

Don't play Guildmage!.. Play Delver &/or if U drop most of your "X spells", play Snapcaster mage!..

The sideboards R quite ok...

i redid the deck following some of the ideas you gave me and the deck is working but ive been reading in some forums on the wizards site that the order of casting with an X is that 1st you decide Xthen any additional mana costs are added followed by deductions do u know a rulings site i might be able to check but this build seems to be running smoothly it does over 20 burn damage by turn 8 usually

Drop the Guildgate, use basic lands instead of it... ...it kills sulfur falls...

Using Brimstone Volley with Pillar of Flame is not a smart idea, since the creature doesn't die, that Pillar kills...

Use 4 Charm, only 3 Wrath, 3 Electromancer, 2 Pillar in the main deck & 2 in the sideboards... ...only 3 Volley, 3 Spear & a 3rd Talrand... Play 3 Talrand's Invocation & put 1 Niv in the main deck!..

If U need more finishers, I'd suggest Thundermaw Hellkite...

Drop Teleportal & add Tomrods' Crypt!..


I'm sure, U'll like this deck... :)
