You'll find its almost always VERY hard to argue with Mashitta :)

I play my friends with a Full card pool. We restrict/ban absolutely nothing. Hell, we even all OK'd the use of Proxies. If everyone can have a black lotus, it loses its exclusivity. After a couple months, the big ubercards just kinda went away. We realized that 0, 1, and 2 turn kill decks just werent fun. Sure, i have at least three decks that all kill on the second turn about 90% of the time....You know where those decks are? In my Briefcase, untouched for months. For me its all about the fun, So i dont compete anywhere, even if there were places to do so. The discovery and affirmation of a plan is the best part of any game. Win or Lose, something new is always over the horizon.

I even thought of adding Hivestone and Gemhide Sliver. If im getting tokens already, no sense in only using them for attack.

True. I guess this is the problem with not having any events within a hundred miles or so of me. Im stuck in the past....Hell, my circle still plays with Mana burn. I can fix it though....I added Upwelling. Makes it a bit slower, but still good enough.

I've got at least 4 decks that would destroy this....IF they knew it was coming. If not, This deck is a total Nukejob. I sure as hell wouldnt like to face it. Excellent Deck.

You really really need to put a tutor of some kind in here. Im seeing 15+ mana before i can get to Consume Spirit. Cruel Tutor/Demonic Tutor would work well.

Two suggestions right off the bat:
1. Get Forge...Best way to test decks against AI. Its free, but still Bata.
http://www.slightlymagic.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=8428
2. Print out Proxies of this whole deck, and play lots of games with it. That way you will KNOW how it performs, and you are only out some Ink. If it works as well as you want, Then buy the real thing. Thats what i do.

So....Im going to test this deck in Forge, and see what i can find for you.

My deck based around Utvara Hellkite is a seriously scary thing. It uses Braid of Fire to generate fast mana, and both Parallel Lives and Doubling Season. Its just hideous. Utrava Hellkite at like turn 3 or 4, and by the 10th turn i have like 40 6/6 dragons IF they manage to hold on that long. Just in case i need to spend excess mana (i still play with Mana Burn) i have some dragons with pay abilities.

I tested a couple of your decks with Forge, and so far the best one has been your Zombie/Vraska deck. It had the longest streak of any deck i've tested in the last two months....Went 53-0 before it broke. It was finally broken by a nasty ass Reanimator deck that pulled out a turn 3 Utvara Hellkite and Assault Strobe. Overall...I think its a pretty scary bastard. Id give it a strong 9/10

Ok so i've played 10 really quick games, Won 8 of them, and strangely enough, Never got out an Eldrazi. Gigantomancer + Awakening Zone has killed them every single time. The two losses were to a Turbo speed burn deck, and a nasty ass Reanimator that pulled out a turn 3 Utvara Hellkite.

So overall, Damn good deck. If only you could add Parallel lives or Doubling Season. Then it would be a freaking monster.

Oh and if you want to get revenge on your friend for his control deck, Check out my "Mea Mentis" deck. I call it Honey Badger....it almost never wins straight up, it makes people quit 90% of the time.

No problem, Glad to help. I thought about Darksteel Forge, but i usually kill or die before that amount of Mana ever comes out. The whole idea behind decks like ours is to generate lots of damage potential, and as many ways to deliver it to the enemy as possible. Good Job, and i see you making it even better soon.

If you want to practice your deck against the an AI, i found a neat program. Its called Forge, and it takes a bit of getting used to, but eventually it becomes EXTREMELY helpful http://cardforge.org/releases/releases/forge/forge/1.3.0/forge-1.3.0.tar.bz2

Just unzip it with 7zip or WinRAR and run the program. The first time you run it your going to want to go to the content downloader and download the images of the cards. It takes a while, but youll have a picture of most every card in the game and can test out any deck you want :)

2 Myr Galvanizers + Paladium Myr = Infinite Colorless Mana

Surestrike Trident is awesome, because it can turn a huge creature into direct damage.
Also: Mycosynth Lattice + Leonin Abunas + Darksteel Forge + Platinum Angel = Near Invulnerability. Granted its really expensive, but the only way to really lose at that point is a whole board sweeper like Damnation or Wrath Of God.

If Colored mana is ever a problem, i like using Springleaf Drum. You can tap it and a creature (even one with summoning sickness) for one mana of any color. It really speeds up early game sometimes.

Master of Etherium gets +1/+1 for each artifact you control....Which is pretty nice in a deck like yours.

Last but not Least, Quicksilver Amulet its the perfect answer to HUGE cost creatures like Blightsteel Colossus. It costs 4, and you can pay 4 to tap it and just drop a creature from your hand into play. In one of my Forge Decks i can pull out an Emrakul on turn 2 :)

I've been an artifact fanatic since i first started playing, and that was back in Kamigawa.

If you go first, Yeah that would certainly work....Once. A Reanimator deck can do the same thing over and over again. But if I go first, its already too late. You couldn't even stop me from doing it again because from then on, every turn i get, you have to sacrifice 2 Perms. Besides, If you know you are going against a Reanimator, There are other things you can do to fix it. If you don't know, then its all over. Nothing is perfect, Nothing :)

Turn 1: Swamp, B for Dark Ritual making BBB
Turn 1: B for Entomb, Targeting Iona, Shield Of Emeria
Turn 1: BB for Exhume, Also Targeting Iona.
Turn 1: Iona comes into play, name Black as the color.
Done. Now you can sit back and play anything you want, and this mono deck (or any other mono) can't play anything but Lands.

Also works well with any Eldrazi that doesnt shuffle back into the library. If you want to be REALLY evil, play It That Betrays, So every attack of the 11 beast makes him sacrifice two permanents, which you then add to your side of the board. Its the Ultimate Mono Killer Strategy.
:)

This is my Artifactory Prime. I average about a 4th turn kill if its treating me well, and i usually have no problem playing on just 3 lands. It has so many ways of racking up damage, and even more ways of Delivering them....Take a look and see what you think.

Two things that will speed your killing up seriously.
1. Blighted Agent + Cranial Plating
Blighted Agent has infect and is unblockable, and Cranial Plating boosts it so very high that one hit is almost always fatal.
2. Mycosynth Lattice + Karn, Silver Golem = All your enemies lands are belong to Dead. Mycosynth lattice makes everything an artifact, and Karn turns artifacts into artifact creatures with power and toughness equal to their cost. Lands are free, so they become 0/0s, thus Die.
