I just took his idea and tweaked it based on my personal experiences playing it. Basically your goal is to kill your own Scuttling Doom engine using the Shrapnel Blast or Life's Legacy. The biggest change I made to the decks versatility was adding Haunted Plate Mail since it not only gives you an added target for Shrapnel Blast but also can be an added blocker when your boards cleared and also boost a creature like Elvish Mystic who loses value later into a game by making him a 5/5 with a simple equip. The Bow of Nylea gives you another added target for Shrapnel Blast but also gives you a VERY good set of options to deal with a number of situations. Also an added bonus trick I was informed about in regards to Soul of Shandalar and Bow of Nylea's synergy is that if Soul of Shandalar is attacking and then has deathtouch from Bow of Nylea then when you pay to activate his ability... it too has deathtouch since it is the Soul of Shandalar DEALING 3 damage to target player and creature. That and first strike and deathtouch... only thing better would be with trample... Speaking of trample I also sideboarded Polis Crusher since his protection is just too good and against heavy enchantment decks he is just the creature to have once you hit his monstrosity and I would generally swap him out with Haunted Plate Mail. Destructive Revelry to me is like a weaker but more perfect form of Shrapnel Blast since it destroys target artifact or enchantment, I swap it with Lightning Strike. One damage less but you take a pesky enchantment or artifact with it... totally worth it. The Twinflame I swap out with two Life's legacy or the Bow of Nylea if I want to be more aggressive even early in the match. I also have tried swapping two Soul of Shandalar with two Bow of Nylea if I face a deck with some aggressive anti artifact or enchantment spells. I also threw in the Temple of Abandon because I think the Scry 1 out weighs the break in rhythm when you want to have a way to search/ push for a card.
