Deck discussion for Izzet budget

Maybe you should get a wall that costs 1 or something, just to slow down your opponent while u build up to win. Because right now you have nothing that costs one in the deck. I'd grab some Kraken Hatchling for example. Maybe unsommon instead of cyclonic rift.

Hmm, Kraken hatcling or fog bank? Its not 1 drop but its better...

I like the idea, that It's not full burn, but mix of control and burn. The draw cards are always good, but I am surprised that you have no 1 mana cost cards, except in the sideboard waiting for approval i guess. I'd add atleast something with 1 mana cost in there, since otherwise you can cast more than 1 spell per turn _earliest_ on the 4th turn, and with a deck that has cards that should be used on opponents turn, it sounds kinda risky. I'd prefer Unsummon over Cyclonic rift, mostly because of the price, but also for it's 1mana cost. It must be pretty rare to get to cast that overload cost on r/b deck. Then again if you wanna hold on to Cyclonic you should add infernal plunge from your sideboard. If you worry about your budget, you should add Izzet Guildgate. Especially cause if you drop it on your first turn the tapped thing doesnt matter at all in your deck. All in all I like this deck :) All the creatures and the artifact make a perfect foundation for a spellcaster deck, which can focus on either control, burn or both in this case. Keep it up!

Well, since both of you told me about the 1 cmc cards I will "defend" myself telling about electromancer, that reduces all my instants and sorcery by 1..
There is really necessary to have 1 drops for the first rounds?

Well it's true that 1 cmc cards lose their value after you get Electromancer on the table, which idealy happens on turn 2. Then again if you don't have both mana and electromancer at the start it starts off real slow. It's your call ofc. Can't really say one way is better than other here.

Soo, what do you guys suggest me?
Should I add Blistercoil, Delver, Kraken or Fog bank?

What about something like Infernal Plunge combined with talrand's token/krenko's commmand???? Maybe Battle hymn too?

I'd definently put Delver in. Infernal Plunge works nicely with brimstone volley. I wouldn't add battle hymn since it only gives you red and you don't have enough creatures to gain maximum potential (unless Talrand starts working early on). And I don't think you need krenko's command as long as you got Talrand.

Hmm, about battle hymn, I was thinking of using its mana to deal dmg with devil's play ;D
But u have to be very lucky to have both in your hand and I will have to change some shit in this deck haha

Delver/blistercoil would be nice along with the runechanters pike... they are one drop, delver can fly and become a 3/2,blistercoil always get big with the spells you cast.
Then will be your choice !
I like the way you build it, and its really cheap for a nice deck =D

Delver's are always a great idea in a deck like this... essentially you can make a version of ElectroDelver

3 Delver of Secrets
2 Augur of Bolas
4 Goblin Electromancer
4 Snapcaster Mage
3 Talrand, Sky Summoner

Spells:24
4 Pillar of Flame
2 Syncopate
4 Thought Scour
2 Essence Scatter
2 Izzet Charm
2 Negate
1 Runechanter's Pike
3 Searing Spear
4 Think Twice

Lands:20
8 Island
6 Mountain
4 Steam Vents
2 Sulfur Falls

This is essentially a really good ElectroDelver build... the only suggestion I could make to make it budget would be scrap the dual lands as they are expensive, as well as the Snapcasters (trade Snapcaster for say Archaeomancer or Augur of Bolas)

Well, only 2 snapcaster would double this deck cost, steam vents and sulfur falls the same...
And I will take a better look at delver!!
Thanks for the inputs anyway ;D

Epic Experiment sounds nice on paper, but it's very hard to get it going good. If you really want to keep it, only have 2 of them in the deck, tops. When you use it you want to have as much mana as possible anyway.

You're running for Pikes but only 7 creatures. Pike is a tough card to balance since you needs spells in GY but you need creatures to weild it. Taldrand is a good idea, however he is easily removed so you need a backup plan.

As it has been suggested already I will add my vote to Delver, another nice creature for control decks is the Lone Revenant.

Your deck name says Buddget, but which budget? Is Mortars too expencive? if not, they are very very good.

I think you can drop Think Twice as you aren't running any miracles anyway, and if you want library digging, Desperate Ravings is a lot better.

Need to run but i'll try to think of some more ideas :)

Well, my budget is not to low, but I dont want to expend a lot on it too... so, lets say 50 bucks I guess ;D
I didnt like Lone revenant that much, but I'll give another chance to delver( I played it once and didnt like it very much, but lets try again)
As for the pike, I'm gonna play with 3 and epic experiment only 2,as u suggested
Think twice is nice for my flowing, I can draw cards and have its flashback too. I was thinking about adding more of these but the only one that came to my mind was thought scour....what do you think??

Should I drop tottaly epic experiment? What about drawing cards?
Is guttersnipe good? Cause a friend of mine said it wasnt good enough for me to play it
