Core mechanic of this deck is to find, play and duplicate Halimar Excavator as soon as possible. Rest of the game is spent focusing on staying alive while the deck plays itself. Clear issue in this deck is failing to grab either the Excavator or Muddle in the first few turns. Without them, this deck is sunk. I feel like this deck is so close to being awesome but I just can't quite round out all the edges. Comments and suggestions are much appreciated.

That's a clever deck, plus I love, Love, LOVE the fact that it's nice and cheap. Reminds me of the day I bought a really beat up clone for $5 back in the late 90s. How times have changed (and prices fallen).

Hey ummm just looking as you said in your comments really close to being really awesome, i just reckon u should bump up ur budget to fifteen dollars or something and add another ally creature, I'm pretty terrible and can give no suggestions but i kno there is a bird allythat gets a 1/1 token for every ally put into play, don't think that would go astray, just for the sakes of combat! XD. Awesome deck for a $10 budget tho
Why not try some Tome Scour? or Sea Gate Loremaster for some card advantage?
