Deck Description

I find that lots of decks nowadays get away with boosting card advantage. This deck was made solely to punish those who do.

PROS: As with most of my decks, this deck can be made on the super cheap. It also is very uncommon to see which means most decks are poorly equipped to deal with this sort of thing. Your opponent should take damage if you draw or not so you at bare minimum should have a countdown timer always looming.

CONS: There simply isn't much you can do against an aggro deck or a deck that can lock you down in the first few turns. This deck also will run into trouble if you can only manage to grab 'Spiteful Visions' and 2-player draws.

How to Play

Ideally, you would want to stall with deterrents like 'Mana Barbs' and 'Rakdos Keyrune' till you can get out a couple of cards that punish draw. Then its a follow up of forced draws such as 'Sign in Blood' or a 'Molten Psyche' till death.

Deck discussion for Drawing death

Have you thought about Gnat Miser? Might be nice to have another 1-drop and it'll really put the hurt on with your opponent's hand size.

Also, from the wording on the Shah ('UP TO three cards') I think your opponent gets to choose how much they draw. Just a heads up.

I like gnat miser but I couldn't identify a card to drop. Plus, your first turn will likely be a wash as you play a guild gate or a border-post. So 1 drops aren't too important.

As for Shah, a 4cmc 6/6 trample was too good to pass on. Sure they get the heavy card advantage if they want it, but ideally, they wont.

Have you thought about runeflare trap? It seems like it will be good in this deck.
