Deck Description

I wanted to make a pure enchantment deck, with no exceptions. After quite a bit of work, this is what I ended up with. It is painfully slow at spots and "destroy all enchantments" is a bit of an Achilles heel but I think it turned out kind of fun.

I had to go a bit heavy on the lock down cards to prevent getting slaughtered in the early game but once this gets going, I think it will do pretty well in a casual environment.

Ghostly Prisons really skyrocket the cost of this deck so if anyone has some good ideas on what I can take out in their place I would be happy to hear it. Same goes for if I missed a really awesome enchantment. As always, just remember the budget =)

Deck discussion for Enchantments [Budget: $25]

This is very interesting, story circle might be beneficial, crackdown might work too =p

Also security brigade is nice little enchantment to give you a quick creature and a lil bonus too

Security Blockade*

I passed on security blockade due to manacost and sideboarded Crackdown because my play group uses a lot of mono-white decks. Great call on story circle though. Initially I passed on it because I felt I had enough protection but upon revisiting it, I think it may be a nice swap out for the pricier ghostly prison. Thanks!

I love it! Haha, enchantments that turn into creatures? Never seen opalescence before...

Yeah, I only wish there was a Terra Eternal equivalent for enchantments. I really like the dual card type idea and run a creature/land variant.
