I wanted to exploit 'Quest for Ula's temple' to the utmost of its abilities and this is what I came up with. As with most my heavy hitter budget decks. It can be painfully slow but in a casual setting, I can see this deck being pretty fun.
Draw or transmute to an Ula's temple and then just hope you get lucky with your creatures. Landcycle everything that gives the option and Scry as soon as you can to maximize your chances for creatures.

I've built a very similar deck. I ended up pulling out the Lorthos, because I found that if I tutored it up without having 8 lands out, it ended up being just a vanilla 8/8. You might instead try Tidal Kraken, which is unblockable. Polar Kraken or Leviathan are also pleasingly old-school, if you'd can bear the idea of the big sac every turn.
