The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

Soulbond really only sees play as a support to the main role of most decks so I got to wondering; "What if I made a deck that only ran on soulbound creatures?" Honestly, I have no idea how this deck will play. I have my reservations about playing a deck where I don't have a clear cut win condition but I figure there is enough going on between the fast creaturebuff swings and the pair threats to make it, at the very least, an interesting deck to play with.

Suggestions are welcome but I really would like to keep it pure soulbond creatures... and of course under budget :P

If only the Silverhearts didn't cost so much. =(

Deck discussion for Soulbound [Budget: $10]

I play a GW soulbond deck and I've found Cloudshift and Restoration Angel's flicker affects very useful. In addition to allowing re-bonds, the flick can save from targetted removal and makes for an interesting combat trick both offensivly and defensivly (the "new" creature enters in the untapped position) :p

I find the lack of "mana elves" a bit weird. I run a full set of Arbor Elf and Avacyn's Pilgrim and it's helped play Silverheart on turn 3 a few times now :D

That is a good idea. I would need to run white though. Should I make this a Naya deck?

Also, I opted away from non-soulbond creatures as I wanted to stick to the theme. The speed does suffer as a result.

I'm not sure about 3 colours. I find that unless you sun a lot of multi colour lands, 3+ colour decks suffer to mana problems. I'm not saying you can't try, just pointing out what personal experience has taught me.

Unfortunately, pure soulbond decks won't work, you need some interaction with non soulbond creatures to get maximum use out of the bond effects. That being said, bonding Wolfir Silverheart to a Silverblade Paladin is awesome :D
