No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

This deck has been made and tested: It's beaten Mono-Back and Vampire Decks (Pre-Rotation). I am open to any suggestions but I'm not too comfortable with switching to a Green-Black scheme.

I'm also planning on removing the trigon of infestation.

Deck discussion for Mono Green Infect (Suggestions Needed)

My ideas for a replacement of trigon of infestation are:
2x Asceticism
2x Corpse Cur

Or adding some more spells to make my creatures more powerful like vines of vastwood

Try adding some Bellowing Tanglewurms to give your Infect creatures some evasion. Try removing some of the Clasps and Engine to make space. Maybe replace Giant Growth with Primal Bellow?

Tanglewurms are a 5 drop, and most of the time by 5 mana I at least have 4-6 poison counters on a person if I play contagion clasps as semi-removal. I'd much rather spend it on Asceticism and then do a putrefax afterwards. I like the idea, but I don't think its fast enough for me.

I was looking into Primal Bellow, but i'm not sure if it is as effective as giant growth earlier in the game.

+4 Tangle Anglers (Pay the mana into him and swing with everything else as they're unblocked.)

-2 Contagion Engines (To me they seem entirely too high-cost to play effectively, I'd stick with contagion clasps.)

+2 to 4 Harrows (Mana ramp, the more the better.)

-4 Terramorphic Expanse (IMO the only use for Terramorphic is to search out whichever land you're lacking in a multi-colored deck but this is mono-green so I find it completely useless, might as well replace them with 4 more forests.

-4 Blight mambas (Pay the additional one mana and get the 2/3 Cyst bearer...)

+2 to 4 Gigantiform ( Pay 5 mana and it's basically GG).

-2 Trigon of Infestation (Not to fond of it, I'd prefer to proliferate for 1 more mana w/ contagion clasp...)

Oh wow, Putrefax + Asceticism = win, hadn't even thought of that.

I've already removed my Trigons and Terramorphics but i put in Cultivates to see how it goes (i haven't really playtested with them yet). Harrows do seem like a better option, but I don't actually own any copies...yet.

Contagion engine has only really saved me once so I probably will sideboard it.

I'm really iffy on the blight mambas being removed though, I use them as early attackers and chump blockers earlier in the game due to regenerate.

Tangle Anglers are also going to be added once I obtain a playset, I didn't think of how useful they could actually be until I played in pre-release.

I hadn't thought of Gigantiform but WOW that would end the game haha.

And yeah.... Putrefax + Asceticism is end game. Turn 5 I typically have 4-5 poison counters already and all I need to do is make sure they're open.
