Without creatures, it falls to the red spells to damage your opponent directly while your blue spells are there to control the board. Imprint your favorite on Isochron Scepter or tap Elixir of Immortality and you'll never run out of cards to play. The sideboard mainly consists of cards that were cut from the main deck for various reasons.
