Nice build - Ghave is my favourite general. I have Algae Gharial in my Ghave deck too, and for the longest time it's been on my "maybe" list, as in it would be one of the next cards to go if something better came along. Recently it single-handedly won me the game. He kept growing bigger and bigger, and by the time he was a 15/15 my opponents stopped attacking me, instead killing off each other (and their creatures - further building up the Gharial!). A 6 player game was down to 4, when I cast Fungal Sprouting. Gharial was 30/30. I also had a Garruk Wildspeaker in play with enough counters for his ultimate. After I cast the Fungal Sprouting, the remaining 3 players scooped, haha.
