Trying out a UWR Control variant.The format is often all in on one creature or relies on a single permanent to do a lot of the work so I wanted to see how Ajani works out.
I'll be play testing this next week and have a few ideas for the sideboard (I want 4 lightning helix across the 75 to play against aggro and phantasmal images to deal with Geist of St Traft) but I'm not sure of numbers.I'll see how testing goes.

nice. this actually looks pretty decent. ive always been a fan of jace beleran. that guy can generate some pretty great card advantage >:D

Thanks! I've only played against soul sisters and so far it seems very much in my favour. There's so much burn that they can't build a board and when they do I sweep. Little Jace has been awesome at finding what I need and Ajani has been gold. Once you blow their lands, and you will in this matchup as everything in the deck can protect Ajani, it is almost impossible for them to recover. Ajani + Gideon has been just as good as when Gideon and Tamiyo were standard. In this matchup Jace, AoT has been strong as he buys me enough time to get back in the game when behind.I'll be getting a kikki pod deck together this weekend and some others in the group will be building other decks so we can give it more of a test run. I'm a little concerned about BR burn and will sideboard accordingly. I'm not sure what my local meta is so the concern might not even be warranted.
