Deck Description

I saw Bishop of Wings and thought it was pretty nifty. Then I thought 'Wait, wasn't there an enchantment to turn tokens INTO angels?'. Then this deck just made itself.

How to Play

Play Bishop of Wings. Play Divine Visitation. Now each time an angel dies (even an angel token), you get... another angel!

Or more than one if more than one Bishop of Wings is out. And if Tesya is out, each Bishop triggers an additional time too. Start sacrificing them Priest of the Forgotten Gods to get extra angels. You can even target yourself with the priest's sac ability to get... yep, more angels!

Tesya will also cause Cruel Celebrant to trigger extra times too. Sac 10 angels to Bolas's Citadel, with one Cruel Celebrant, that's 20 loss of life. With Tesya, that's 30. With all four Celebrants, and one Tesya, that's 90 life loss for each opponent.

You can also swing with them too.

Sephara is there for boardwipes, Angelic Gift is to help Sephara protect your non-fliers.

Edited to keep up with standard; Sideboard is if you don't want to play standard, and have it be a bit stronger.

Deck discussion for Angel Sac Engine

this doesn't really feel like a 20 land deck to me, mostly because you have 6 and 7 drops, with X spells too. also can't you play the shock lands and check lands from allegiance and dominaria respectively

Bolas's Citadel lets you spend life for mana, including for X costs (I checked the ruling), so as long as the life gain is going, you can cast whatever is on top. Also Sephara's cost can be gotten around by tapping four fliers, which would be easy enough to get. And Priest of Forgotten Gods gets you mana ramp; I haven't fully tested the deck though, which is why there's also Smothering Tithes in the deck and Pitiless Plunderer in the sideboard.

I could add in the special lands, but I prefer playing with basics for the most part; this is also a casual deck, I'm not using this to win tournaments or anything.

Although to be honest, I probably should put Godless Shrine in there instead of the guildgates, heh.

Updated to keep it in line with Standard. Sideboard will have old cards.
