I used to use fist of suns and channel the suns.... However after the first few times, I would be dead before I could do anything... In multiplayer games, telegraphing your moves by playing fist of suns will get you destroyed quickly.

If you go back to Darksteel, replace the liquimetal coating with Neurok Transmuter. Does the same without tapping. 1 blue per creature ... I'm not too familiar with recent sets.

It is a card that I've used before.... it's almost a classic now ;-)

It definitely comes in handy when you are more reliant on black than your other color without having too few of the non-black lands.

Yeah your decks keep needing to evolve based on the new cards that come out. I thought some of the newer cards were ridiculous and so I stopped buying new sets and it got to the point where my decks couldn't keep up.

Not bad... Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth might help with your black mana needs.

You have too many lands... Drop 4 lands. Since this is not a Type 1 deck, add an Enlightened Tutor to help you draw the Godsend. It is a restricted card so you can have only one in the deck. You can replace some of the lands with a couple of Gold Myr. They will give you white mana that you'll need early on and can just be a chump blocker later in the game.

Also as artifact heavy non-type1 deck, consider adding in a Myr Enforcer or two.

You have too many lands especially for your mana curve. You never want more than 21-22 lands. That increases the likelihood of hitting a mana pocket and slow you down. I would recommend that you go down to 20 lands and add in 4 cards that can help your deck. I'm just getting back into magic after years, so I won't make any suggestions on what to add.

Don't forget to readjust your land mix based on your revised deck.

When I used to play artifact heavy decks, I used to toss in a couple of Myr Enforcers.
