DO NOT KEEP HANDS WITHOUT SIMIAN OR CHANCELLOR.For sideboard you want to use restore balance against scapeshift or any control. Leyline of sanctity for burn. Leyline of void for dredge and living end. Pact of negation protects you if they are going to counter belcher and you otherwise have the win. Stony silence is to slow affinity.

I'm not sure on the effect it'll have on the speed of the deck, but Lotus Bloom is another 'free' mana source. Sadly you'll only get it on turn 4 at the earliest. I also feel that I need to point out that the mana gained from Braid of Fire can only be used in the upkeep.

It's OK, a lot of people fall for that mistake. I, on the other hand, am trying to abuse the mana generated by Braid of Fire. I don't have enough of the cards yet, but the idea is to use Paradox Haze (on myself) to grant multiple upkeeps, thus multiple age counters and lots of mana.To remedy the problem of only using it in the upkeep, I found Gemstone Array. For {2} I can put a charge counter on Gemstone Array. I can then remove a charge counter at any time to get one mana of any colour :P The problem I'm having is what the rest of the deck is going to be. Definitely draw and search for the combo, but what will I use the combo on?
