Deck Description

A damned if you do, and damned if you don't deck (with an 80's metal song themed name!). In its 3rd revision.

Version one was all regenerating creatures with death-touch. The second version was all regenerating creatures and creatures with fear/intimidate with death-touch. Now, version three is all regenerating creatures (74%) and creatures with first strike....and with death-touch.
____________________________________________________________________________________

Simple, battering ram , concept:

1. Control opponent through board dominance: My creatures do not die because they regenerate and my opponents do, because of death-touch. Unless someone makes a "Destroy creature. It cannot regenerate" deck.

2. Control opponent through fear: Opponent must choose between loosing life from creature attacks or loosing creatures to death-touch. Eventually, they will not have a choice.

3. Control opponents though aggression: Keep attacking with death-touch enough times it will wear anyone down.

Ideally, the first strike creatures, equipped with death-touch, will be my offense, and my regenerating creatures, with or without death-touch, will be my defense. Ultimately, the opponent will be worn down enough that it will not matter.

My only real fear is a burn deck, but I have built it fast enough, and cheap enough mana-wise, that I should still have a chance, especially if I can get Quietus Spike equipped early on.

Deck discussion for The "Undying Death" Deck v.3

Trust me when I tell you, the 1 life loss from Piranha Marsh is not worth the staggering speed loss you have from using them. =]

it looks cool. the one part i dont get is having infect things. if you want straight up deathtouch, take out the tainted strike and use virulent swipes. they give a sexy +2+0 and deathtouch for one swamp and it has rebound. and you can always try having 20 swamps in and put in one more gorgan flail

The Infect was simply another nasty thing I had in there to make my opponent not want to 'touch' me. But your right - Virulent Swipe is infinitely sexier (and fits with the theme)! In fact I like it so much, I think I will put 3 of them. Not sure how I didn't think of it before, I have had that card bite me a couple of times.

Painful Quandary may not quite fit with the deck's theme, but I still think it would be good here, since not only would you then be giving them hell with Deathtouch, but they's also have to make a coice between taking damage and losing their hand as well. And-
wait a minuite, I was expecting this to have a few Vampire Nighthawks- I mean, 2/3 for 3, with Deathtouch, Lifelink, AND Flying? For sure, unless there's a reason why it's not in there now, that could be nice to take a look at.

Oh yah!...Why the frick are they not in here...well I'll have to fix that! Thank you. I think I was on a first strike kick when I last edited it.

And in regards to Painful Quandry - Im not partial to its mana cost, BUT in a deck like this I should have time to get it out. If nothing else, this deck seems to slow my opponents down to a crawl. Ill see if I can get it tested out this week. Thank you

this deck looks good but there is a few cards you might want to consider
a must have is 2 more viridian claws. first strike and death-touch means your creature wins automatically. if you want your opponents to feel helpless, that is definitely the way
add another vampire nighthawk.. that card is.. ridiculous and if you have even 1, you should have 4 instead
another card is reassembling skeletons. while its not regenerate(your theme) its actually a bit better because it resists -1 counters and (cannot be regenerated) cards. it is slightly higher mana though but just thought you might wanna look at it
and finally... ADD A 4TH QUIETIS SPIKE! that is the most ridiculous card in the game that alot of people have. any deck with that card in there just makes me feel helpless lol..
hope my ideas helped you, but this deck doesnt need much help its good. if you, or anyone else wants to return the favor of deck helping feel free to choose any of my decks, just click on my username thanks
