Atarka and Silumgar are my favorite dragonlords. I have been wanting to build a red/green deck for a while so I decided to make the Atarka deck first. I have been playing MTG for about a year now. I'm not tournament savvy but I enjoy casual games. Please leave any comments or suggestions on how well you think this deck will do.
The deck focuses on building mana to summon big dragons. The Dragonlord Servants help reduce the cost of the bigger dragons. All the while the Furnace Whelps and Dragon Eggs serve to protect and attack early game (or be fodder for Hellkite Hatchling). Then the big dragons play a specific role:Savage Ventmaw: Provide mana to buff whelps or play additional spellsFoe-Razor Regent: Utilize the fight related spells to buff itself or other dragonsHarbinger of the Hunt: Combined with the Gorgon's Head for board clearI know this deck will probably struggle against removal or flying defenses but I believe the ability to fight creatures by choice helps remove annoyances that would not be removed otherwise.
