Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
I ran out of ideas to make for EDH. Ive done 76 EDH decks on here already. I <3 the format to death, but I cannot figure out another deck I want to build. something that is fun and unique. And also with a general that is done right fun to use. give suggestions on decks youve created in the past that you think are fun to play. After a week or so, Ill gather up my thoughts and post a deck from what I found form you guys. hopefully this will get viewed enough so I have something to work from. BRAINSTORM! READY! SET! GO!

Merieke ri berit? i'd like to see that played off well. Maybe the new/old Borborygmos's? I'm trying to play with Sharuum atm, not by building her as an artifact combo deck, but with all (or most) of the sphinxes! :P

One of my very first EDH decks was Merieke ri berit. and let me tell you, she was a target. Once I got her out, everyone was like FUUUUUUUUUU! but very fun theme to her. Stealing creatures of course, and also with a copy creature subtheme.

Ah, i just noticed you already had merieke xP i actually think that Oyobi would be interesting to pull off, because i was tempted to d o it myself. I think Anowon might be interesting to play out as well.
interesting thought of oyobi. seems very themed. which is always fun. might be a more casual edh deck. but thats the fun of making edh decks. you never know how good you can make them once there finished! and I see Anowon as more of a vampire theme but not the general of it. deff a power card for the deck tho
I have an Oyobi spirit deck... it's pretty fun. Certainly a bit more casual than some of my other decks but it does lead to some very scary board states out of nowhere late game.
Thats true for Anowon. Kiku of the nightflower looks pretty fun! i thought about making her also. If you havent made Expirement Kraj already, he can be pretty challenging and fun. My friend had an Obnixilis deck and that was pretty interesting too.
Surewhynot has a awesome Kiku edh deck. very powerful effect on her. As for Experiment, he would be a tough challenge to make a great edh around. it just sucks that edric is SOOO much better! As for Ob Nixilis, he is pretty sweet. I enjoy mono black edh decks. I currently am running Chainer Dementia master edh and its bonkers good!
Nice, chainer, dementia master looks fun! xD I actually tried building a kraj deck. it didnt work very well...haha, he is getting taken apart for a momir deck. Shirei seems fun if you like mono black decks. lord of tresserhorn looks hilariously fun!
Made a shirei deck as well haha. I have made PLENTY of decks. thats why im in a pickle haha. Shirei is by far one of my favorites in mono black. I agree!
You could do Balthor rhe defiled....i played a relentless rats deck with him as the commander, and the guy board wiped, played him, and got ALL of his rats back.....it was rediculous. You could also try out geist of saint traft, that seems like a challenging deck to make.
I always wanted to make a Geist Deck. I have made one already one here. but havent put it together to play test it. because its so damn expensive! but he is so aggro as fuck! with of course control. as for Balthor, I would have to take a look at him. good idea!
Yup! And im not surprised that geist gets alot of aggro, i dislike him too xD Speaking of aggro....you could make a sliver deck if you havent yet! xD
I could! But i SUCK with making sliver decks! I never know where to go about. But deff needs to be done, just to say I have done it! lol
Haha, i have a sliver deck made that i can put up tomorrow if you'd like to see it. it can use a few cards, like maybe the guild signets, but its still decent.

Tibor and Lumia is a really fun general that doesn't draw a lot of hate. Second the Ob Nixilis suggestion. He makes for a rediculous mono black landfall deck. Norin the Wary is one that I always think about building but don't currently have the cards for... He's just shenanegans.

...and that's why they aren't a threat. Then you get 2 for 1 value off every spell and start doing things like stealing all creatures on the board with a single red spell or using random draw spells to keep creatures off the board. They are very scary.
Tibor and lumia is actually a sweet deck. Focused around STORM! The great combo is (future sight/magus of the jar + sensei divining top + cloud key/helm of awakening) You infinitly play the top searching for the combo pieces like brainstorm or grapeshot and beat face with them!As for ob nixilis and wary. Ill third nixilis and take a look at wary
Buddy of mine has a Budoka Gardener EDH that is pretty fun to play against =]
What's the win/con
Lots of wincons. Obviously you can mash face with the huge elementals you make, even populate them! But it also has a lot of hilarious big beefy green bombs. The deck is a classic "turbo-land" style of ramp, that just dumps out land after land after land, so it has lots of "equal to number of lands" effects and just big freakin' mana sinks. Always fun to play against because it's so flashy =]
Oops I meant to hit Reply like before. But yeah I agree. You could then easily just cast genesis wave for your whole deck and swing for win. Cause concordant crossroads
May want to throw in a few ponders there.
I'm a bit biased towards the creature type, but what about a cleric deck with Mikaeus, the Lunarch as commander? Clerics like Samite Healer and D'Avenant Healer (or anything with Healer in its name) will protect you, and buy you time to build mana to bring out Mikaeus with plenty of counters. Then you can use him to turn those little healers into beefy attackers. Plus you've got big hitters like Doubtless One and Ancestor's Chosen. If nothing else, it would be unique.
So a clerics tribal mono white edh? I can try. Might be casual.
I think it would have to be casual; there aren't enough T2 clerics that I know of that could be used. And all the ones I named above are not legal.
Great ideas here. I'm a little skeptical about Tibor though. Ob Nixilis, while a great card, doens't lend himself to being a huge threat aside from dealing 3 damage per turn but once he gets to menacing sizes, someone can just O-Ring him and thats that. Back to square one. I had him as an EDH earlier but scrapped it since he just didn't carry his weight. Tbh, he needs to be Black/Green. He would be SO much better. But good EDH generals? Theres tons. I'm not even gonna try to sort through all yours so if I say one you have just ignore it. Teysa, Orzhov Scion is a wonderful general if you like tokens and controlling creatures.Grimgrim, Corpse Born is also pretty powerful. A murder every turn, and he gets real big, real fast.Bruna, Light of Abalaster is, with the right draw, a turn 7 win. All you need is like, 3 auras and she's set.Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord or Savra, Queen of the Golgari for the ultimate grave based EDH.If you're a fan or artifacts and aggro, Jor Kadeen, the Prevailer is a good one.Gwafa, Head Profiteer is a super annoying Azorius color control deck, but he's effective.I haven't made one, but Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter sounds fun. Vamps tribe.Rhys is the be-all-end-all of all White/Green tokens. Puts Trositani to complete shame. There are 3 legendary Slivers .....just sayin'....These are just some that i have had ideas for or my friends have made. There are still SOOOO many more though...
