Deck Description

So I think I just found a infinite damage combo...I haven't found it online yet. so here it is!

Force of Savagery + Lifeline + Pandemonium

Combo is: have Pandemonium and Lifeline out, summon Force of Savagery and BOOM!
Force dies because of his 8/0<- and Pandemonium does the 8 damage, Lifeline is triggered because FoS is put into the graveyard thus returning it to the battlefield and triggering Pandemonium AGAIN! and thus causing a INFINITE LOOP OF DAMAGE! how kick ass is that! is this the first time this combo has been discovered??...if not its still awesome!

Threw in elves for fast mana, and the ball lightnings + Ground-breaker for heavy hitters and Pandemonium triggers!

please if you love this combo and and this deck comment, and also take a look at my other decks, I love all suggestions and tips!

Edited!:
5/30/2011- added 2 Oran-Rief, the Vastwood, took out one forest and a Rootbound. Use = just in case I want to use force without the combo

Deck discussion for Possible Combo Discovered!

Hmmm...The wording on Lifeline is a bit odd, but even so, I think you do indeed have an infinite damage combo, and a cool one at that. I actually really like this deck. It's got the infinite damage thing, but each component of the combo has synergy with the rest of the deck.

Only thing I can think of is to maybe add in 2-3 Oran-Rief, the Vastwoods if you have them. That'll allow you to choose to keep FoS if you don't have the other parts of the combo ready.

Incandescent Soulstoke maybe an idea as well, giving your Elementals +1/+1 and his second ability is great with Force of Savagery, Ball Lightning and Groundbreaker.

My question is, once the end step begins, does the trigger continue to repeat itself within the constraints of that step? The card doesn't say "during the next end step"

When in doubt, check the oracle text, "Whenever a creature dies, if another creature is on the battlefield, return the first card to the battlefield under its owner's control at the beginning of the next end step."

So no, like cards that triggered during the upkeep or at the end of the upkeep like Ichorid, they have all been erratad to "At the beginning of your upkeep..."

okay heres my thought, it says comes bak into at end of turn right!, so it would play out like this:

beginning of turn, (of course u have lifeline and pandemonium out alrdy), you summon Force, he dies and does the 8 damage as pointed. okay in lifeline, it does say comes back at end of turn correct? so in that case, end of my turn he comes back and another 8 damage is done and he dies. no does my opponents turn occur at this point? and does Force come back at the end of his turn and do the 8 damage and die? and then does this cycle of him dying on each players turn and coming back at the end of each players turn? a slow infinite effect of 16 damage a turn? anybody know what im trying to point out?

It will at the very least be a continuous threat of 16 damage. The question of course is at what rate. Still, even slowest rate possible that is a lot of damage.

It's sixteen damage during one turn. Just do some damage to your opponent before hand and you'll be set.

Would phyrexian dreadnaught work better? its colorless, only costs 1 mana, and would only take pandemonium to trigger twice, and you would win the turn you played it. Just choose to not sacrifice other creatures, and it will die. If FoS was the only reason you had green, you could even do mono red, or some other combination. Green works well, but I'm not sure if you're using just because you have to.

I'm afraid the rule for the card has changed a little: http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=8808
There is the added clause that another creature should be on the battlefield.

As per the query you've been asking, from the wording on the site, it will be 16 damage the first turn followed by 8 damage in the opponent's end step. (as the wording changed to "at the beginning of the next end step")

But still a brilliant deck.

But with phyrexian dreadnought, it's 23 damage on your turn, right?

It will actually be 24 damage on your turn not 23, but essentially Phyrexian Dreadnought is pretty OP in this deck.

Oh, yeah, he duh... 24. Not sure why I can't count. So the Dreadnought will work then.
