I like this deck. It's an interesting take on slivers that I've never seen before, and it looks as though it would be strong. That being said, I would like to see how this compares to "normal" sliver decks. Whenever I think of a sliver deck, i picture a deck utilizing cards such as sinew sliver, muscle sliver, shifting sliver, and brood sliver, to beat the crap out of your opponent. Even so, this deck is very cool. Good job!

Even with Immerwolf, Huntsmaster is still an awesome card. If it were not for immerwolf, there would be four Huntsmasters in this deck.
The reason why Faithless Looting is in here is for the draw advantage. It is a card that can be played at anytime in the game to dig for something that you currently do not have but desperately need. This is even more important for red and green because there is almost no draw cards for these colors. However, I can see where you are coming from and I might replace faithless looting. I am just not sure what to replace it with.
I do not really care for Gnaw to the Bone. It would be a sideboard card at the most, and even then it would only be decent against mass removal.

Thanks for the input. I appreciate it :)

Alright I'll throw in the sunpetal groves and put beast within on the sideboard. Thanks for the feedback :)

Yea this deck looks good. It's got all of the the best trees imo, and everything else looks good. I honestly can't recommend anything :)

Cheapness is relative, I guess :)

Speed is the name of the game when it comes to vampires. Don't underestimate the 1 or 2 drop creatures in this deck.

Yes it would, but i chose not to add them fore two reasons. First off, fetch lands only make deck run slightly better. Secondly, they are very spendy, and I like to make decks that are in the price range of college students like myself.

The extra bonus that i didn't realize while making this deck is how cheap it could be. Without vampire nocturnus, the deck would cost only about 40 dollars! (of course, nocturnis kicks ass in this deck, so i wouldn't want to remove him lol)

to summarize what i just said (cause i can hardly make sense of it), the reason extraction works so well is because extraction removes an opponents win condition, essentially. To beat this deck, I'd just create a stompy deck that's extremely unfocused with terrible cards. You would use extraction, but it wouldn't matter, cause everything in the deck is terrible. And i would win because, hey, i have all day lol.

I just find it incredibly ironic that the best way to beat extraction, one of the games best builds, is to use the worst decks. :)

so how i'd beat this deck is to make a green deck with a bunch of 1 of's with pos cards. You'd have no idea what to remove and id eventually win cause i'd still somehow get creatures on the field XD

I like it as well, but I find the lack of win conditions disturbing. Maybe you could just add a few grave titans or something? idk, but it's awesome nonetheless.

yea this deck works very well against blue counter decks because it's sneaky fast and blue decks can't keep up with all the trees. I have a friend that uses a very powerful vintage mono blue counter deck and this deck can constantly give it a run for it's money. Blue decks are also why i threw thrun on the sideboard. He's such a pain for control and he happens to work with leaf-crowned elder's ability, so it's a win win :)

He's already in the deck. You see, you don't need the land in order to get him on the field. Murmuring Bosk generates the mana he needs, as does birds. Green sun's zenith will also get him out on the field (or any treefolk in the deck, for that manner). And finally Leaf-crowned elder's ability puts him on the field :)

The problem with the general damage theory is that Zur is a HUGE target and is likely to get hit with removal/kill cards. I feel as though you need creatures because otherwise you will get overwhelmed easily.

On another note, it looks like you have most of the good enchantments you need. However, your missing one of my favorite enchantments in this deck: rhystic study. This card gives you nuts draw advantage in mp and is all around awesome.:)

lol if i played this deck casually it'd get crushed :)
but in all honesty i'd have to disagree with you. Running a deck with control eliminates the biggest problem that i've seen with heartless; if you don't get heartless summoning out the deck loses because it's too slow without it. With the blue black control, I can attempt to hold the opponent back until i get a heartless summoning, then if i get ruin- scarred demon, the game effectively ends.
However, I'm still open to suggestions, and if there are cards that you think are better, please, lay in on me :)
