np. i built that deck for a buddy. I used Talrand instead of Pyromancer. he seems to like it

if your going to play multiplayer, think about using Guttersnipe. He really deals out damage to all opponents.

I will agree that guttersnipe is good in multiplayer. hes a wasted card slot 1 v 1 though

Were you wanting to go creature heavy or more towards instants/sorceries?

Nivix Cyclops & Flux Charger are useful in an instant/sorcery Heavy Deck. If you are planning on putting the Goblin Electromancers in I would suggest using spells with flashback more often than not.

Cackling Counterpart is good for this deck because it could potentially give you another Electromancer or Guttersnipe when you really need it! Combine with increasing Vengeance or Dual Casting to make several inside a single turn.

I also run two Temporal Mastery in my deck... I've worked the miracle cost alongside dual casting and increasing Vengeance to get 3 extra turns before - that is a game changer.

If you run tokens or creature heavy - consider Dragonshift... it can be very useful for endgame. Same goes for Burn at the Stake.

Chandra's fury is good board clear.

Im not sure if you can make a token base red/blue deck ? Isn't it more green/White ?

a couple things: with Nivix Cyclops based decks (or Talrand, or Pyromancer) you dont want a ton of extra creatures. Yes, Electromancer makes your instants cheaper, but when you have 2 Cyclops on the board, you want to be drawing an Artful Dodge, not a goblin electromancer or other random creature. (for the math lovers: 2 cyclops + 2 artful dodge, plus a pillar of flame, or shock, or unsummon = 2 unblockable 10/4 creatures swinging in. electromancer didnt help at all in this particular scenario, and its a potential turn 5 win. electromancer, dragonshift, chandras fury, temporal mastery, Cackling counterpart, ect all slow you down.

Krenko's Command -- Krenko, Mob Boss -- Goblin Rally -- Talrond's Invocation -- Talrond, Sky Summoner

If the Mob Boss is allowed to go unchecked, it gets really stupid really fast, lol. Fervor is a good card to have for this kind of approach as well (& Goblin Legionnaire).

you can make a token based red/blue deck...then Dragonshift is relevant if you can get to 7 mana.

would talrand and pyromancer be too much or make yourself vulnerable ?

both of them would mean that youre running 8 additional non instant/sorcery, lowering your odds of getting to what you need. Honestly, I like Talrand better than Pyromancer, because Talrand makes fliers.

So the chance is there but yeah 7 mana is a long time in magic xD

especially when this deck, as currently listed, is planning on winning turn 5. if you wanted to make this a token based deck, youd need to stay alive until turn 5 before you could even start producing tokens from Talrand. the cheaper stuff...krenkos command...i guess helps a bit

So putting in Talrand instead of Pyromancer how many would you suggest NinjaStyle612 ?

since he is a Legend, I would run 3. then drop a land and both inaction injunctions to add 4 unsummons to protect Talrand or clear a path for Cyclops if you dont have Artful Dodge

the benefits of this deck are that it is Standard, it is FAST, it is fairly competetive, and look at that price tag. its budget.

the drawbacks being that its only got one main win condition, with a Talrand fallback. you should be able to burn for enough damage to get there though. Ideally you turn 1 Delver, flip and swing on turn 2, turn 3 cyclops, and turn 4 pump cyclops and win. its possible with this build, but your local metagame will determine if its going to work or not

If we choose to say fu.. to the Price what would you put into this deck to make it deadly ?

0

thats the thing...it doesnt NEED to be expensive. if you stay in standard this is about as good as it gets while keeping the cyclops idea. if you wanted to run it in a modern format, you could put in Curiousity and Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind and a bunch of card draw and just shoot your opponent to death by drawing out your deck. that could be fun in Modern
