the obvious card that springs to mind that you need is coat of arms, a cheap rare that buffs up your weenies into massive threat quite effectively. The one downside is that it buffs your opponents creatures, however, whats wrong with a little group hugging? On a similar note beastmaster ascension serves similar purpose. For protection i'd recommend asceticism, I have found it great to protect your creatures from pesky non green players with removal =D Lastly I would recommend skullclamp, which is also reasonably inexpensive and generates stupendous amounts of card advantage. Feel free to check out my EDH decks if you need any other budget ideas =D

Love the deck. My friend runs a similar one. Gravepact and Ghave has some really nasty synergy, Martyrs bond also comes to mind as a similar effect if you want to run it.

Looks good although I would replace the vows with good old fashioned instant speed extermination (especially non creature removal to stop opponents doing especially nasty things) =)

Ok after playtesting I decided not to run buried alive as it is painful to tutor for 3 cards in EDH and it got very tiresome very fast and wasnt alway fantastic enough to warrant it. Still havnt got around to trying genesis out, although I have made several changes such as adding life from the loam for land recursion, am looking for a crucible of worlds to add to it. Also added terastodon for birthing pod and combo disruption, as well as adding spine of ish zah and ratchet bomb. Now playtesting Hex although it seems too specific to be often useful. Any advice what to replace it with? Maybe decree of pain?

You need more protection/haste with Kaalia because the new set paints a massive target on her head. I recommend running darksteel plate, swiftfoot boots and other similar effects because otherwise she is never ever going to see play. If you want other ideas check out some of my EDH decks, heres a link to them here:

From personal experience if you're running a creature based deck use cards such as asceticism and eldrazi monument (since you run token producers). I also completely disagree with taking out patriarchs bidding and coat of arms as although they help others they help you more, and since when is playing something friendly bad in EDH, being selfish is stupid.

Also mana wise, I find elvish guidance brilliant as it is less prone to removal than your elvish equivalents and works well with arbor elf. Also wirewood is good despite being worse then priest of titania it is still better than ezuris archers for example. Lys alana huntmaster is also a must and so is thousand-year elixir.

Sorry for the long post. If you need any other inspiration check out my elf EDH http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=164673 or infact any of my other EDH decks.

im not raging at you. Just imagine everything I just said in a bored and slightly sarcastic voice.

And yes pact of the titan can make you lose faster but it is possible to win with the 4/4s it produces which means there is a potential win con. A worse deck would be one without any win con.

I am sorry but this isnt the worlds worst deck because it is possible to win with it. Remove pact of the titan and then it is (one of) the worlds worst decks, trust me, building a bad deck is easy.

Yeah, I thought about it but in my opinion messing peoples land-bases up isnt a fun way to play so I decided against it. Thank you for the advice though, I will check out your deck.

replace the second bone saw with konda's banner, also stonehewer giant is quite tasty.
Lastly, I generally find lands quite useful in an EDH deck. You can get away without them in some legacy decks but ive found it generally doesnt work so well in EDH =-)

Scornful egotist
wellwisher
goblin gardener (the flavour text is simply epic)
phage the untouchable
eternal dragon
Multi: lightning angel
Artifact: colossus of Sardia
(the fact that these are all creatures was unintentional, but I generally find them the most flavoursome/awesome cards)

Q: How many colours do you most enjoy playing in EDH?

Akroma, angel of fury. Speaking of which I might design my next EDH deck around her =-)

If you are running time vault (which is restricted in vintage with good reason) then you may as well run voltaic key and do the combo properly. Of course this is completely overpowered and absolutely no fun to play against so my question is: WHY RUN IT?

True about the imperial seal, apparently it only costs $6-800...

Slightly more expensive than my own glissa deck, although I never really like cards like hymn to tourach and duress in EDH, in a four player game they only hinder two players, one of which is you. Also I'd recommend birthing pod, with your general that card is amazingly useful =-)

wait can the kobolds, cant run them in mono black, replace them with a memnite (for culling) and a blood pet (for the chrome mox as well as allowing you to combo off a turn earlier if you start with it in your hand)

swap out a few swamps for cabal ritual, culling the weak, mox opal, mox diamond, chrome mox, 2 kobolds of kher keep (for the culling and chrome mox), this will allow you to combo out earlier by playing her and searching up ad nauseam and then playing these spells to play the skirge familiar once you draw the deck allowing you to skirge a turn earlier.

I once designed a similar EDH that used tendrils to win, filling the deck with 0 and 1 mana cards which would take my life down to 6 or 7 before casting everything and tendrilling for a massive storm-count. Sadly I have since deleted it, however, this is a much simpler idea and works against any number of opponents as long as none of them run any counterspells...

Well done, although if I ever versed someone running this deck in real life I would probably be forced to stab them.
