- Black/Red Casual Discard Deck - While most discard decks are just mono Black, I think adding in a splash of red makes a big difference. - Hymn to Tourach, Mind Twist, Thoughtseize, Inquisition to Kozilek are your black discard spells - Making this a B/R deck allows you to incorporate the awesome Blightning, Terminate, Lightning Bolt, and Burning Inquiry - Of course Lilian's Caress and Megrim for obvious reasons. Using red in this decks allows you to maximize the synergy of these cards with Blightning and Burning Inquiry, You have a 7 damage two discarded cards with Blightning and a 6 damage Burning Inquiry with only one enchantment in play. - The wanted a variety of creatures then ones that just discard cards. Hypnotic Specter is in my opinion the best "specter" card and on obvious choice over Lilian's Specter. Augur of Skulls serves a dull purpose having the ability to regen for defense and can discard 2 cards when needed. - Sangromancer allows for a substantial amount of life gain when combined with discarding, plus a 3/3 for 4 mana...yes please. - The Phrexian Obliterator does what is does best, obliterate. Many of the cards in this deck affect your hand, the Obliterator handles the field.

Nice, I've been looking to make a discard based deck.... this solved my problem as to whether or not I splash blue or red...
