Deck discussion for Draw Deck

Nice deck, It fits together really well. But you might want some multi-colored lands in there. You have mostly artifacts, but the cards that do require colors require most or all of the same color. Underworld Dreams being a very good example.

I know, changing the lands was going to be the next thing I was to do. and also, does anyone know of any cards (hopefully not green) that allow me to play extra lands each turn? also dose anyone know good tri-color or bi-color lands?

Yeah, the bonus land-play cards are almost exclusively green (Azusa Lost but Seeking, Exploration, Manabond, Fastbond from the good old days, Oracle of Mul Daya, Rites of Flourishing, etc). The only non-green land-play card I can think of is Storm Cauldron, a five-mana artifact that returns lands to their owners' hands. You might have to just live with one land per turn, there's no way around it. The expensive old card Mox Diamond can turn any land in your hand into a way to get one mana of any color, but it's really not useful for this deck.

The somewhat-good tri-color lands came out in the Alara block. You could try Crumbling Necropolis and Grixis Panorama, or maybe Rupture Spire. Among older (and better but rarer) lands, you might want to consider Gemstone Mine, City of Brass, Tendo Ice Bridge, and maybe even Reflecting Pool or Exotic Orchard. I've also seen people use Unstable Frontier for a $0.25 mana fixing card.

The artifact construct "Walking Atlas" can have you put down extra lands per turn.

? Where's the Psychosis Crawler. Combo that with Consecrated Sphinx and take out underworld dreams and you kill your opponents while you draw @$$loads of cards.

Thanks. I've never heard of those cards and i'm sure that they'll make great additions to my deck.

No problem. Have you thought about Temple Bell? Tap it to make everyone draw but with the sphinx on the field it's a "You draw one while I draw 3" deal.

I did consider it but i have completely no idea what to take out.

I'd say out with the Runeflare Trap. It CAN be potent but...I think there's other options.

Well firstly a grammar correction - There are* other options

and secondly about 7 damage for 1 mana is pretty awesome. without Runeflare trap there wouldn't be enough ways to deal damage

0_0 I just got the best idea! put in reliquary towers instead of spellbook/Venser's Journal. Then you'll have enough space to put in Temple Bell!

I'm so proud of myself for coming up with that!

No prob. :D Also, check out Winds of Change. It's a mixed blessing, but it can get you new cards + makes them draw for almost nothing + works well with runeflare trap.

This is just a fantastic deck idea. Nice deck, maybe a bit slow, but i don't think that there are a lot ways to change that. Like the idea of card draw damage with Psychosis Crawler and Consecrated Sphinx.

I got a same sort like deck were i play more on Forced Fruition withs i like alot. when I play it most of the times its game ether I win because he decks himself or I kill him becausse he just drew to many cards and I could burn him for it.

I totaly see no defence ether you just play a solo game like the opponent dont count and you just play your cards like a game of Patience you ether win or loze.
I love the card Mark of Eviction it dont looks to good but when you see it in action its realy good it slow the enemy alot becuas ehe can only attack ones and then he have to recast his monster and thats takes away his mana what you need in this type of deck.

I myself would chance the Psychosis Crawler and go for 3 times Forced Fruition and 2 Mark of Eviction.

And play some mana exel like sol rings and stuff because I see your mana curf is a bit high for the good stuf you wish to see fast in play, for that I would take out Runeflare Trap for some speed bonus because you can miss this one still keep already 7 other burn cards with a hell lot draw cards so the chance you pick 1 is high and with a Teferi's Puzzle Box (wich you much not underrate in this deck) your sure you pick 1 or 2 of the burn cards when you need those a turn.
and in most cases if you time it right you can burn for about 14 a spell atleast

Nice deck. I'd put in more Forced Frutions in though.

thanks but it was hard to fit in all the cards as it is. i can see the benefit of forced frution but there were too many expensive cards.

Here are 4 older cards for you. Prosperity, Sudden Impact, Black Vise, and Wheel of Fortune. Hope these help.

0

well, the point of the deck really isn't to win by mill, it's to win by damage of the draw. interesting concept though. - i'll think about it.

There are a few lands you could use
izzet boilerworks is like 50 cents, so you should probably just go with that
also: cascade bluffs, crumbling necropolis, shivan reef, steam vents, vivid creek, vivid crag

Izzet Boilerworks forces you to return a land to your hand when it comes into play. It isn't worth it if you've got walking atlas or Terrain Generator. All the other ones are good though.

Have you thought about opting for Black rather than Blue? Black offers Underworld Dreams which sets you up for more repeatable damage, and with Puzzle Box it becomes brutal. I've seen scary mono-Black decks running that combo killing turn 3 / 4. I built my own, splash Black to help ensure quick finishes. I haven't read all of the comments, but if you're still looking for bi-color lands, try Scalding Tarn and Steam Vents. They're two of the best Blu/Red lands you can get.

scalding tarn is a fetch so it gets blue or red

Steam Vents and Volcanic island are the 2 best U/R duals however volcanic island is pricey cause its one of the older duals

I recommend a Swans of Bryn Argoll. I Created a Combo with that and PAriah That makes the other player not wanting to attack you. And it goes well with this deck.

Really like the deck. I'd add more control with blue in the form of scry and counters. In my multiplayer circle, a lot of these cards are going to be hated on, so you need ways to protect them.

You need Soramaro, First to Dream. His power and toughness are each equal to the number of cards in your hand. He has flying. You can pay 4 (colorless) to return a land to your hand and draw a card.

Also, Seer's Sundial - Its landfall ability lets you pay 2 and draw a card whenever you play a land. I think it costs 2 or 3.

Archmage Ascension + Gilder Bairn would be a good combo, but I'm not sure you'd want to have to put Gilder Bairn in there.
