Deck Description

All hail Cthulhu. This deck is based on big creatures and was inspired by HP Lovecraft. Yes I know there may be better creatures for the deck, but I like these creatures. The whole point is a multiplayer deck based on getting out big creatures and crushing your opponent. Finally, when you cast Emrakul and your opponents roll their eyes and concede the game, you must cackle maniacally and tell them Cthulhu bathes in their despair!

How to Play

The big creatures are pretty self explanatory.

The fog bank and guard gomazoa are meant to keep you alive early. Even the Saku-tribe elder can block and be sacrificed before lethal damage sets in.

The key engine of the deck is your Vesuva and Cloudpost. Cloudpost copied by Vesuva means major mana quick. The Sylvan Scrying is meant to seek out them (or perhaps even your academy ruins).

Kodama's reach gets those Islands into play so you can cast our big blue creatures and it further thins out your deck and accelerates mana.

Scour from existence, nevinyrrals disk and oblivion stone are all meant to destroy any threats that prevent you from winning, and Academy Ruins can bring one or more back if necessary.

Staff of Domination is very versitile and even stronger with your high mana base.

All-in-all the deck is meant to quickly grant you massive amounts of mana, which you will then use to unleash your army of Great-Old-Ones to basically run over any and all opponents.

Deck discussion for Hail Cthulhu

I'd switch the islands and forests

Well the point of having more green is because all of the cards that allow you to search for basic lands cost green mana: IE Kodama's Reach, Sylvan Scrying, and Sakura-Tribe Elder. With those cards you can search for the islands and any other land card needed. But thanks for the input.
