I never considered Alms Beast before in reanimator, but he looks pretty sweet in this build. 6/6 for 4 is huge, and I think he is better than desecration demon since your opponents don't have the option of sacking to tap him. Alms Beast is meant to be a defensive creature in this deck, so his drawback is minimal. And he combos nicely with disciple of bolas.
