Nice idea, you got some big old beasts in there. For my money you would need some mana accelaration though, otherwise any quick fire deck (red burn etc) is going to have you on the ropes before a dragon pops up. One way round this would be to add some Empty the Warrens and then you can flood the board until you draw enough lands to start dropping the dragons.

I looked at Empty the Warrens. I'm still a little unclear on the Storm ability. Is it saying that if I play other cards prior to EW that it will be copied without additional mana? Thus, in my case, if I played say two Goblins before EW that I would get effectively 3 EW's for the price of one? BTW you'll notice I added Iron Myr's to aid in mana supply.
One way to get speed AND mana to pump up your Shivan is adding 4 Mana Flare. Also, Furnace of Wrath is a nasty card in a straight red deck. Please help me out with my deck: `my favorite deck'
Thanks for the advice, but Mana Flare would make this deck illegal in Extended, a status I'm wanted to protect. I'll look into Furnace after some testing.
As far as your deck, I have 3 possible solutions. My first thought was that you might want to add a drawing card or library search card such as Lat-Nam's Legacy or Browse. This way you can more easily get to that game-ending card. Another possibility is old favorite Stream of Life which you can use if you find yourself getting behind on life.
The 3rd idea I had is if you're going to go old school try to get your hands on Ifh-biff Efreet (very difficult I know) which has built in Hurricane ability. Hey if you're ahead on life and have the mana it can end the game just that quick. Not to mention the amusement of having two cards with the same picture in your deck (it is the source image for the error Serendib).
Even though you have a lot of one drop beating Goblins in the case that some one has a lot of board sweeps it kind of destroys the purpose, and at that point if you dont have any good dragons out the game will most definatly stablize. So with that said if you want to keep it extended legal I would highly recommend that you add in some mana excell like Seething song, Desperate ritual, Rite of Flame Or Chrome Mox, this helps you in a single turn drop a dragon or a lot of goblins and it pumps them.
