Deck Description

For those not familiar with Oathbreaker, it is similar to commander.
60 card singleton deck (not 100)
Your last card is your commander it must be a Planeswalker (not a legendary creature) cards in your deck must match your commander's color identity
Your second-to-last card is an instant or sorcery called the Command Spell.
Both your commander and command spell start in the command zone. Regular commander rules apply. Each time your command spell is cast you may choose to have it go back to the command zone (even if countered). Each time your command spell is cast, it costs 2 more to cast from the command zone.
Your starting life total is 20 (not 40)

These are my decks I've made to showcase this new format and to show off some flavor of each planeswalker.

Deck discussion for Oathbreaker Davriel

Don't forget you need the walker in play to cast the command(or signature spell as wizards are calling it).

I like this take on a discard deck, including big beefy beaters like nightmare and leeches to capitalise on the lack of answers that your opponent will have in hand is a great idea.
I assume you didn't include liana's caress due to the flavour fail of Dav's only interaction with her was when he hung around on instead whilst she was there and also being part of the war of the spark, but I don't think they spoke.

I do feel that Raiders' Wake fits in here somewhere (due to Kane being a conqueror of worlds in his younger days)

Yeah. I don't have a lot of the cards I would like to put in and I am restricting myself to not allow flavor fails :P
Unfortunately right now the deck only really works when you get Geth's Grimoire. But it's still fun. I'll have to get a copy of Raiders' Wake. I also want to get a copy of Waste Not for this deck.
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it!

This was a while ago so I am assuming you played the format a decent amount at this point. How is it?

Honestly, I don't get to play much anymore, but when I do use this deck it does a good job at shutting down slower decks and struggles against faster decks. You really need Geths Grimoire to keep the fire going but other early plays like Waste Not help a ton too.
If you can afford more expensive cards, I'd recommend some good board clears like damnation.

If you're referring to the format in general and not this deck, it's quite breakable. My decks are a little on the weaker power levels just because I try to keep them thematically tied to specific planeswalkers rather than optimizing them.
