The surgical extraction should go in the side board. It seems good but you should take out the beast within for "go for the throat" exsanguinate doesn't belong in this set up at all. Try geth's verdict or doom blade.

If he gets a constant feed of life gain then he might be able to pull it off. I"m sure at his FMN he wasn't playing anyone with deck worth any competition if they lost to this. I understand the first match, but not after side board.
I think it looks really interesting, but you might want some fetch lands in there. I think it will be a great help IMO. Side board some Surgical Extractions. The only complaint i have is, if you play against a hardcore aggro deck and you are constantly poking at your life with PHY dmg then you might lose faster then expected especially if you play someone who is side boarding crush and shatters for the extrators.
Surgical extraction should be in the side. Mimic vat is eh.. for control its just not something you want since most players tend to play control but worry more about their vat then actually controlling the field and their opponents hand. Sign in blood don't really need. need more lands since you are running 4 Obs and 2 skin render, 24 is good. check out my MB control. I only have one deck atm because i deleted everything else since the release of NP.
