The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Another exalted deck. Deals with low cost creatures, both mana and price-wise. Wanted to try out a cheap exalted deck, before I dropped several hundred dollars buying all the cards for a staple exalted deck >>. Not to say this deck is not any good. Knotvine Paladin or Jhessian Infiltrator with a Behemoth Sledge and Sigil of Nayan Gods can whack a good chunk of an opponents life away. Finest Hour added for fun, though I have not really used it yet in an actual. Bant Charm and Offering to Asha added in for some control. Defense with Wall of Denial and Guardians of Akrasa.

Thinking of adding in some Path to Exile's and Rafiq of the Many if I can afford it.

Suggestions and whatnot are welcomed, but please do remember this is a budget deck, nearly only cost me 12 dollars to build. Thanks

Deck discussion for Exalted Weenie

I'm not real familiar with the exalted mechanic yet. I am yet to try and use it in a deck. However, it seems like running a bunch of cheap creatures defeats the point of exalted. what good is it to get out 3 or 4 creatures early when to use the exalted mechanic only one can attack? Like I said I know very little about exalted and maybe there's something I'm completely missing. Let me know what you think.

The point of getting weenies out is that those cards all have exalted (except for a few). Even a weak creature can get pretty tough when you have a bunch of exalted creatures out. Anyways, for a cheap deck, it looks pretty good, and it should work for casual play.

so the creature gets the +1/+1 bonus for every exalted creature on the field? that's what i was missing. i guess i need to read the card closer. this deck seems much better now that i understand that.

that a good deck to me, and il tell you to change a few thing
-3 Ethercast Knight ( they only purpose is exalt another creature and you want to have good creature that give exalted)
-2 Guardian of akrasa you alredy have Good defense with the Wall of denial.
-2 Offering to asha, thta a good card of course, but you need more aggro,
-2 zigurrat i t will be a pain anytime wyou wish to cast a non-creature spell,

+4 Rhox war monk That the kind of creature you want to resolve. 3/4 lifelinker is definitely a huge advantage Imagine with Exalted now!!!
+1 Jhessian Infiltrator you want to have a exalted creature to be unblocked
+4 Shorecrasher mimic They will add trample to your deck. and a 5/3 Trampler is something very power with exalted and finiest hour.

You can buy these card in you local store for pretty cheap, keep it up and good luck playtesting

thanks for the suggestions and comments. took Levidz advice and took out the Ethercast Knight and replaced it with Rhonx War Monk, the quick game I tested with it in it swung for a good 13 damage and 13 healed. I found Offering to Asha really useful in the games I manage to use it. I'll take out the Ancient Ziggurat once I find a cheap 3 color land or creature to replace it with. Thanks again for the comments!

Looks good, especially considering the budget. :) Not a big fan of lands that come into play tapped, myself. But if it works for you, hey.

+4 Jhessian Infiltrator, is a must, as it is always unblockable.

also try double cleave.

If you don't mind adding in older cards for casual;

Soltari Priest: Protection from red
Shadow (This creature can block or be blocked by only creatures with shadow.)

Soltari Monk:Protection from black
Shadow (This creature can block or be blocked by only creatures with shadow.)

Main problem I see is that this is a weenie deck that needs to be build up. Also mass blockers or massing against you and the like. Your creatures are meant to be the agressors but they are very weak when not attacking. Maybe something like tangle bridge or something that makes it so only one creature can attack and only one can block each turn.
