Some history of Caw-BladeFor a slight time in standard and modern Stoneforge Mystic + Squadron Hawks + hard control shell was the way to go until Stoneforge got banned. Although some legacy brews still float around Caw-Blade lost it's fame with the bans. In pauper most play Trinket Mage + Hawks, I however wanted to cut blue and play Heliod's Pilgrim instead of Trinket Mage.I was enjoying Esper Caw-Blade a bit and it got me thinking."What if I change Trinket Mage for Heliod's Pilgrim"And yes Trinket Mage can fetch pretty much an answer for anything and blue gives you mulldrifters and brainstorms but I liked the thought of having a selesnya list so I made this one.After massive testing with 3 other people trying this deck for me we all fell in love with this deck. It is Caw-Blade but better, Heliod's Pilgrim can find anything you need except for graveyard hate.
