Ramp hard with green spells and use low cost spot damage/removal to keep the enemy board clear. Use Expedition Map to pull out your Valakuts and eventually you can dominate with landfall damage/Bogarden/Lavaball to finish the game off.Deck was built in 2010 to be standard. Only designed to work, not compete with current modern metagame.
Try to combo hard w/ Khalni, Expanse, Harrow and Explore to get explosive valakut trigger/ ramp. Make sure to always have at least 1 of the 4 forests you have on the field. You can use Expedition Map to pull a forest but try to use it for valakut pulls if you can. Throw in Platinum for decks that Mill hard or win through less conventional means. Stone idol is great against token aggro and Earthquake combo's nicely with the both of them. Goblin is obvious and Siege is preferrable against bigger creatures that require higher spot removal damage/chump blocking time biding.Chandra can be played as a main or sideboard card as you see fit. Valakut is the star of this deck, if you see her lending towards your goals I recommend swapping for SGC and Volcanic Fallout since they don't really help her stay on the field/benefit from her -7.
