The deck is casual and inexpensive but has the potential to surprise. Success hinges on the ability to get Fabled Hero into play with some protection in hand. If your opponent isn't threatening you when you untap with Fabled Hero, you can probably start sculpting a win.
Ideally:T1: Forest and Hardened ScalesT2: Land and Sylvan CaryatidT3: Land and Fabled Hero with 1 mana open to protect him.If your opponent tries to remove your hero, you can seize the opportunity to protect him and, in turn, put 2 counters on him.T4: Give your Hero a supporting cast. An Abzan Falconer or Tuskguard will give your Hero some combat abilities. If your opponent tapped out to try and kill your Hero and the board is clear, you should now have enough mana to cast Become Immense. In this scenario the Hero is already a 4/4 double striker. Give him Become Immense to increase him to 12/12 after Heroic and Scales trigger. Swing for 24. Obviously this is a pie-in-the-sky result but some insanely fun things can happen. Very hit or miss deck but if you untap with Fabled Hero, things are looking way up.
