Deck discussion for Grixis Superfriends

Looks fun to play but a bit slow to get going in my opinion tho. (I very well could be wrong without play testing it) I'm assuming your gonna add The Chain Veil from M15 when it's released.

It does look very slow, I threw in the izzet cluestone and keyrune to try and speed things up a bit. Its mostly swamps in the mana base, I guess my plan would be to try and ultimate a liliana. Once you get her -6 off I dont think mana would be an issue and you could really start doing some work.

turn 1-land drop
turn 2- land drop + contagion clasp or spellskite
turn 3- land drop + keyrune or cluestone
turn 4 - land drop + liliana (+1 as soon as she come into play, giving her 4 loyalty )
turn 5- land drop + (+1 liliana) pay 4, use contagion clasp, giving her 6 loyalty)
turn 6 -play a land and hit her ultimate- wreck house

So best case scenario- Turn 1 Swamp nothing else, Turn 2 Island Spellskite, Turn 3 Swamp Cluestone, Turn 4 Land Liliana comes out on turn 4 regardless of cluestone or not with a extra land with no 1 drops to use it. Then protect her for another 3 turns to ultimate? Like I said looks fun but against any aggro deck your dead on turn 5 or 6. I have been wrong many times before so...

But I think you should put the Cluestones / Keystones to 2 ofs if you wanna keep them and wurmcoil to 2 of and Add 6 burns or 6 counter spells depending on your personal play style.

with contagion engine in play and 4 mana ( just 1 swamp after you -6 liliana) you can give a planeswalker +3 loyalty in 1 turn!

It sounds great to use contagion engine that way but what else is protecting her for 2 turns? Your opponent does get to play too.

I totally agree, it would play much better with 3 mana leaks and 3 lighting bolts

As well since your not going modern 3 or 4 Dark rituals will be better then the cluestones all together.

I left the cluestones and keyrunes to help with ramping, dropped dack fayden, and reduced the number of the costly wurmcoil engines and contagion engine down to 2. Any improvement?

Defiantly.with that done I would go to 8 swamps 4 Islands 4 Mountains 4 Steam Vents 4 Sulfur Falls. or add fetch's if you have them. (Pricey Buggers they are.)

Yeah I definitely need more sources or red and blue with the addition of mana leak and lightning bolt. It would make them much more consistent drops on turn 1 and 2. I was heavy on swamps before for better synergy with liliana

I added sulfer falls along with more islands and mountains, kept the swamps at 12, and left steam vents out. I want alot of swamps for the synergy with liliana and the keyrune and cluestone help give me additional sources or red and blue
